Likely Rew I would think, imagine Zach would rather ride for Mark Lemon given the choice.

Possibly yes and Birmingham ditched zach but he went back to them and there is the possibility of Birmingham not finishing the season money wise Hope not but it's there in the background??

To suggest they won't finish the season money wise, is bollocks imo!

They struggled last season, so why would they go again if they can't see it through?

Just saying....

Paying out for a lot higher priced riders just saying 😉 on a 500 crowd?

If he is so good how come his away average last time with the Aces was vastly inferior to his home one. Can’t remember the exact figure but wasn’t it something like 5ish?

But Zagar spent several months at #1 with a higher average than Fricke & Kurtz.  Aces were actually better at home when Zagar was at #1 than when either Aussie was in hat position.

Don’t agree thorsell is on a downward arc, rode well in the SoN at belle vue last summer beating lots of big names helping Freddie and Sweden to a bronze medal, scored 10 coming fifth in the gp challenge also narrowly missing out on qualification having one bad ride in the meeting

Hmmm. Having seen every heat of the SoN, Thorsell benefitted from the general poorness of the Danes & Poles, he got out the gate & made himself difficult to pass but Lindgren did all the hard yards for the Swedes.

Zagar is a class above both Pawlick and Milik

Pawlicki is probably a better rider than Zagar now, but his attitude wasn't right in 2024.  On a 4.11 average I think Milik would be worth a punt to start the season at resreve.

I'm expecting serious improvement this year from Rew, average wise, could push on to be second heat leader if he has a good season.

Hard to imagine Zagar averaging less than 7 to be honest. Knows the tracks well and will settle down at Birmingham pretty quickly.

Always liked him, thought he would go all the way to the very top after seeing his debut season with Trelawny where he was even better than Iversen who Newport signed. From memory averaged nearly 10 in his debut season. Was a class act for Reading too.

Hopefully the ambition being showed by Brum works out. Signing Nilsson, Zagar, Thorsell and Tobi as well as Rew wont come cheap but if they do all click then they could be quite a top side.

Should be re-marketed as "Air Birmingham - the Mile-High Club".

Could attract a new support base especially if the club hires a load a portaloos.😲

Don't know why people still keep harping on about Zach Cook being treated badly last season. Plenty of riders have been unfairly dropped over the last few years in order that their club's can play the numbers game, and although they don't like it, most of these riders just accept it as a hazard of their job.

I also thought it was a mistake to let Zach go at the time, but the fact that he came back into the team at a later date and then showed considerable improvement, says it all. He would have been daft to have missed the chance of returning, and would just have been doing himself out of earning more money. Personally, I'd have liked to have him back for 2025, but I wish him well wherever he does go.

Just as a matter of interest, which of us would have ditched Milik and retained Pawlicki last season? In hindsight, we would have benefitted by keeping Milik who did at least put some effort into his riding, which is more than can be said about Pawlicki- but by reputation, Pawlicki was and is, a far better option, had we only realised this at the time.

If Brum had moved quicker they would have got Z.Cook back ...Rew is a good signing  tho ..
