Falcon1983
Funny people saying Zagar is a waste of money, Zagar of a few seasons ago was making good money Last season he was unattached, this season he has a ride in Poland and wants to keep more active He's definitely not on the sort of money he was on previously in the UK and in Poland tho polish money is obviously far superior 1
Col
Zagar is an absolute pleasure to watch at the NSS, I'd only rate Bewley higher around that circuit. If he can master Perry Barr similarly he will score heavily at home. Belle Vue were at their most prolific in the title winning 2022 season when Zagar was #1 rather than Kurtz or Fricke. Away from has always been patchy, would be a good #3/4. Can win races at Foxhall & Owlerton, but can also go missing.
skydog
Zagar was an absolute star at Reading- but it was a long time ago! I hope he can still be a star for Birmingham, they deserve some luck.

According to my memory and subsequent research, Zagar only did two meetings at Leicester. Scored 9+1 from five rides and then 1 from four rides (failed to finish in 3 races). Pretty sure that he made his dislike for the track well known and was absent from the Aces line up on their later visits. To say you are easily pleased would appear to be a massive understatement!

Maybe he can't wait because it's one of the few opportunities leicester might have of winning a meeting next season, if Matej is going to get 1 from 4 again... M.D
I will tell you a story about Zagar when he was the Eastbourne number 1. Got a call from Adam Shields on a Thursday  to say we had a guest booking at Eastbourne in place of Zagar on the Saturday. We turned up and was setting up when Mark Seabright, MZ's mechanic at the time and now Jason Doyles turned up with all Zagar's kit ready to race. Zagar didn't even give Mark the courtesy of telling him he wasn't riding on the Saturday even though we knew on the Thursday, Mark never worked for him again and I have had little respect for him after that..
