Zagar and Thorssel? I don't rule out anything now! Zagar would be good at home, useless away, so his pay package would need to be arranged to anticipate that.

Jumping in quick re: Zagar, think I read in the 'Star a few weeks that Zagar is either 'no longer an active rider' or 'is semi-retired', not been able to find the article again but think that's pretty much what was said, so he's poss out of the picture anyhoo....

He's riding for Tarnow in 2025, SpeedwayStar have made a mistake so expect Matej at Birmingham in 2025.

Good stuff for Matej, happy to stand corrected, as we need our info to be right.  Right ?...

You didn't get anything wrong, It's the SpeedwayStar who've made a natural mistake.

Given he only rode in the Croatian GP last season (and wasn't injured), semi retired seems a fairly good description.

"Semi-retired" would probably be an apt description for his likely levels of effort and performance at away tracks, including BV, but I'm sure he'd get dialled in ok at Perry Barr

Offer him “silly money “and he will be out of semi retirement very quickly.

It would be indeed silly to offer him any amount of money!

Put this in here as well because I guess it affects Birmingham, and probably Lynn too as they were the clubs at the bottom this year. He obviously knows the Birmingham team and is expecting them to be much more competitive which is good to hear. Also talks about clubs building in different ways (Lynn?) so it’s giving optimism to fans of every club.
