As said above, Morris has confirmed the points limit was agreed a month ago during meetings leading up to the AGM. If Ipswich choose to then reveal their team before the conference then quite frankly, that’s none of Tolley’s business or anyone else’s come to that. Quit the jealous salty snide remarks and concentrate on building your own team that the Birmingham supporters can enjoy watching. And Mr Tolley can say what he likes, providing it's within the Law of the country and within SCB rules. Does what he's said add some spice to things? Yes! Could it fall flat and leave him looking foolish? Yes! But he takes that chance and, as you'd say, that's none of anyone else's business😁

Happens in any sport when a team is so successful and dominant, they become disliked by fans of other clubs. That can hardly be labelled at Ipswich! The club haven’t won a league title for many many years. It’s all a bit strange to be honest but hey ho. The main part of the dislike for Poole is the way their fans behave, surely? It's the Poole fans people dislike isn't it? All one and the same really isn’t it? It’s all one entity surely.

Yeah, I edited my previous post to try and clarify that a bit. Don't think it's totally the same - some serial winners are loved (the likes of Roger Federer/Usain Bolt come to mind), while others are disliked (Floyd Mayweather, etc.) because of the way they act.

You can admire and respect the capability of a person or an organisation, but liking them/it is often not guaranteed. Margaret Thatcher was an example ( for me).

I think it’s both personally. Individuals are a bit different to team sports. Liverpool was always unpopular with just about everybody other than Liverpool supporters back in the day because they were so dominant. The same for Manchester United in the 90’s. Fans of other clubs will be jealous and want to see them knocked off their perch. The best victories in matches will nearly always be against those clubs at the time. Nothing wrong with that it’s human nature I suppose. Does happen with individuals as well though. Steve Davis was universally unpopular in the 80’s, but when Hendry came along and his success dried up, he suddenly became far more popular and supported and Hendry then became unpopular! GiveusaB
I'm sure everyone at B'ham wish Brennan all the best....he was one of the very few highlights from 2024! How can Tolley or anyone from B'ham be disgruntled towards Ipswich? they were the only team that let us win away last season ?.... joke! 😃
SaddlebowRoad
presumably ippo spoke to brennan while still contracted to brum? ie in the summer all clubs do it and its nothing new but i guess strictly speaking it's against the rules just playing devils advocate as to what tolleys issue might be
GiveusaB
I think there's more being made of it, than what it is? He has every right to feel disappointed that his best rider of last season has decided to leave...human nature! As for doing things by the book? C'mon...his right hand man is L.R ? That's not a dig...L.R with all his experience, just knows how to navigate the rules.... I'm sure nobody's bothered who Brennan has signed for....riders come and go all the time....it's just that he performed 'slightly' better than average! (he only put 0.7 on his average) Edited November 18 by GiveusaB

Museliak and Thorsell as top 2.... I definitely think that Worrall will return....Kerr goes well round PB, would be a reasonable choice at reserve.... Need 2 strong second strings...hoping Douglas is one of them! It doesnt rule out F.L because his ave is slightly lower than Musielak..Cant see Freddie coming back next year tho ..
