Neila
On one hand it's good that belle Vue have a GP but shudder to think how much tickets will be taking what SON final ticket prices were, also wonder how much the Cardiff crowd will be affected, saying that just booked premier inn for Cardiff £250 for 2 nites

The costs of the SON were, in the main, due to the other events, and the costs for the whole week, rather than the final... Plenty paid over £90 to attend that, with that price set to try and subsidise the expected loss on the other meetings I would think... Cannot wait....

I dont think that happens in manchester city centre. I have been to cardiff 18 times. Wont be going to the nss. Just a thought what are they going to call it british gp of the north of england. Bet Dan Bewley is pleased though. Have a beer in city centre MCR, and get an uber to the track... Less than 5 mins from the Northern Qtr..

Bet Dan Bewley is pleased though. We’ve had the fan zone a good 20min walk from the stadium in the past and many pubs the fans use are a good walk away. There’s loads of pubs within 20-25 mins walk of the stadium but as has been mentioned get into the 2nd most visited city in the UK and sample the atmosphere there. If you want to make it work you can, if not, we’ll stick with the masses.

The country, then I'm glad they did that. Personally I don't see why anyone would be against this round, if they prefer Cardiff - just go there!

R87
Brilliant news and long overdue that the UKs only exciting track joins in the GP party. Let's now hope that the miserable hole in the ground in Wales is empty next August so they finally get the message. Good riddance Cardiff. You've embarrassed Speedway long enough and you won't be missed
1stbender
Pleased for Belle Vue that they get to host a GP at our National Stadium. I loved Cardiff but let’s be honest could so easily be moved now if the GP team can keep the standards they have with temporary tracks, maybe the Birmingham Alexandra stadium or maybe somewhere like MK Dons football stadium could be converted something a bit left field than Cardiff could easily freshen it up for British fans. SoN was expensive to host for a week as they knew was going to be low crowds first 3 events and had to subsidise it.
mikebv
£75 "posh seats"... £65 the other seats . £55 to stand... £100 for the "exec box"... Build an extra 2500 seats on the third and fourth turns.. And a couple of stands on the first two turns for standing (like they had in the first year), and you will get 6000 plus in... It will be a sell out with those numbers...
