LagutaRacingFan
It would be in the interest of speedway fans in Britain to not want Emil & Artem back in the GPs. If that happens, the chances of them gracing England with their presence is close to none.

Teromaafan
The SGP should feature the best riders in the world. Looking at the 2024 riders, Emil & Laguta are comfortably better than half of the field. On that basis they should be competing in the SGP but politics will have a say on that matter. Non qualifying riders for next season’s series will be decided by the sport’s powers that be and not dictated by public opinion. If either or both of them are selected for next season’s GP, league racing in the UK is hardly a priority, which would be totally understandable.

Understand the point you are making and it makes sense, I think everyone is in agreement that a lot of speedway isn’t run how fans would want it, including riders in SGP. The mention about UK being a priority doesn’t hold too well though, I’d argue that every SGP rider who is currently in England doesn’t see UK as a priority but more of ‘training’ and time on the bike, so if the two gents do get into SGP it’s still the same decision they must make about either UK or another league, not UK or SGP.
