I’ve been to Leicester about 12 times and it’s the same every time I been here. Yet when not here keep reading reports of great racing, think they telling porkies.

It was good in the Championship ever since we moved up it's got worse

That's the issue, it's certainly not just BP that's boring more often than not.

With the semi final agsinst Ipswich as well, I think that makes 3 passes 23 races, you can blame the track or you can blame the bikes but whatever it is, it’s not acceptable, it’s not even close racing, they are spaced out

Shape of the track for me, reminds me a bit of the football pitch type tracks of Berwick and the old Derwent Park at Workington, long narrow straights and tight radius corners have riders queuing up to enter the corners

While that may be not helpful for passing, they not even close together, it’s just spaced out gate and go

It's not always that spaced, tonight is particularly bad.

The semi final against Ipswich was no better but was saved because the match was close

Both meetings there were ruined by the weather though. It's been the wettest September on record in Leicestershire.

That’s no excuse, a wet track is no worse than a dry one, it’s only visibility that makes a difference

I have been to world finals home and abroad. Been to GPs home and abroad

In the 54 years I have followed speedway this must be the most pointless meeting I have ever seen

Leicester were just outclassed imo, The wheels fell off the Lions in the meetings against KL prior to the play-offs.

Poor track all round considering they started with a blank canvas. Its been well discussed previously though.🥱
