With the line up it's looking like they're going to field next season, it looks to be more of the same only without the granted 7-9 points from Lawson, which means that everybody has to be always on their game, which sadly (for us) wasn't the case in the final (or semi for that matter) Totally agree ..Leicester lack a good number 5 ..You could see that in the play offs this year ..Fricke wasnt at his best either ... Because they were above the points limit. Not easy to strengthen up in that scenario. While they are weaker, I don't see any of the riders picked being particularly bad choices.

Ipswich had more points spare than Leicester, especially after the Dan T reduction, but they were a stronger team than Leicester last year (till injuries). Don't see how Leicester could've built a team to rival them, unless making wholesale changes.

We are going to push Birmingham for the wooden spoon with this team. Too many riders like Masters , Cook & Howarth on the decline. Becker should have been first out the door but his connections to the owners means he is back in 25 just shows the owners do not have Leicester’s best interests at heart. We are weaker on & off the track with the loss of Pidcock Motorcycles as stadium sponsor & no sign of a replacement . Not a good time to be a lions fan. I've read somewhere that a new stadium sponsor has been found.
LionsFan
Trying to be optimistic, (clutching at straws probably) Cook should be a stronger reserve than Kemp was last year and Hagon may have improved after riding in Australia this winter. Although Douglas and Masters are rumoured to be the last two, SD could pull a rabbit out of the hat, Wozniak mentioned on here, would he strengthen the team? I thought Douglas was a bit disappointing at times last season. Presume Pukka Pies have taken out some sponsorship, new stadium sponsor perhaps? You have to do what is needed to make yourself competitive, my team has always been ruthless but every year they are competing for the honours in whatever league they are in. Riders like Becker should be doing better.

I know they had to drop some points, and losing Lawson for Howarth for me is a real kick in the teeth for a good bunch of Supporters, but that's the Points situation i suppose, but i have to say getting Craig Cook back is a disaster in my opinion only, i hope im wrong, but if i was a Leicester fan, that would dissappoint me more than Howarth. But their Gaffa does change things around, he isn't afraid to do that, so we will wait and see, if Cook wasn't 1st choice, and i expect that is true, then who was?? Personally I think Cook will have a good season, push Howarth to reserve, where Kyle's scoring will then pick up. But with Cook, you can never be sure what he'll do. Hamish McRaker
Have Brum made Douglas a counter-offer (before he's fully committed himself to Leicester)? It wouldn't surprise me. Where is he likely to score more points - Leicester or Brum? I'd say at Brum on a week to week basis. But over the course of the season, anyone's guess. Anyway, all will probably be revealed tomorrow. Set your alarm clocks
