Leicester Lions 2025

pidcocks web site still up nothing on there or on the lions facebook page

ill wait for any announcment rather than scare mongering starts

They will of course still be trading, but with a receiver running the business with the plan to find a buyer or at least raise cash from selling stock in order to settle with creditors.
Lowest running cost will be the order of the day so staff redundancies and reduced marketing first in line of fire.

depends on your definition of 'technical'

if its how difficult it is for riders (esp away ones) to get the set up right and ride the correct lines then id say bv is technical in that respect

its generally not a particularly easy track for away riders to score points on because there are so many lines

Every track is technical for me.

I am just going by what top riders like Emil and Tai have said.

Masters has to be at Leicester because the Sam to Oxford rumours makes no sense now.

Tungate confirmed, Janowski basically confirmed himself and they're trying to sign Bewley at No.1 therefore Masters doesn't fit unless they go with a rider on a 3 something at reserve and they wouldn't do that because they would've signed Boughen or Jenkins as the No.6 if they were going down the top heavy route.

My guess is masters re signs. Stewart voted him rider of the year so I assume he will want him back

There's no better smell. I tried to get the Mrs to buy some so i can put a cap full in the petrol mower. It would certainly get me cutting the grass more often i said.:D

Masters will struggle to fit if we sign a number 1. We could not have signed Jenkins or Boughen at 6 as they were picked from the RS list so were unavailable after we picked Killeen. If they weren't picked, we could and probably would have taken Jenkins at 6. Unless of course either removed themselves from the RS list but would then lose the discount on their average.

Can anyone explain why Cairns isn't being talked about signing for Leicester when he turns 16?

I get it in the development league, Belle Vue is a good track to learn, but when it comes to the premier league hus first choice has surely got to be Leicester?

He's said he doesn't want the pressure of riding for his dad's club. He's also said his preference was Belle Vue because of the track. He doesn't like Leicesters.

They could take J Thompson if they wanted to take that route…

1. Musielak - 8.21 / Bewley - 8.52

2. Wright - 6.32 / (although I can’t see PS getting rid of Riss - 5.61)

3. Masters - 7.32

4. Janowski - 7.02

5. Tungate - 7.71

6. J Thompson - 3

RS - Killeen

Total: 39.58 / 39.89 (39.18 with Riss)

Why is there an Oxford team on the Leicester thread?

A reason as to why nobody even wanted Joe as a RS let alone a No.6.

Would've signed Boughen or Jenkins as the No.6 with one of them opting out of the RS scheme knowing that they'd have a Premiership place like the Edwards/Gilkes Sheffield scenario this season.

Lawson is the perfect fit for the No.3 race jacket but he's off to KL if rumours are true.

1. Fricke

2. Howarth

3. 7.13 or 7.15 (Tarasenko?, Wozniak? or a 7.00 assessed rider from POLSKA)

4. Becker

5. Masters

6. Sedgmen or Kerr

7. Hagon (RS)
