2025 GP line up/wildcards

Poland haven't reacted well to the wild card news.

PZM are threatening a cap of 1 GP rider per team in the Polish league.

That would see a lot of riders pull out.

Taking the opportunity of reducing their costs and capping the chances of a single team "buying" success. seems quite logical. - But doubt it will actually happen as no threat has actually been made.

Teams will still be able to buy success.

It just means riders will pull out of the GP series.

For example, Jack Holder and Lindgren wouldn't choose the GP series over Lublin.

But to be very clear.
PZM have made no such threat as per your latest "False news".

Phil Morris spoke to a Polish journalist about Emil and Artem.

Here is the story: https://po-bandzie.com.pl/zuzel-morris-zabiera-glos-ws-laguty-i-sajfutdinowa-podsumowuje-tez-sezon-gp/

As previously stated. PZM have not issued a threat to limit 1 rider per team in Poland
They have said that a number of options will be considered for 2026 if they continue to be unhappy with only having two Polish riders in the GP series.
Of course, the concept of riders having a choice between riding in Poland or the Gp's will not end there. The choice would be Poland and no where else, as the FIM would definitely revoke all international licenses. Something which the national bodies might actually welcome.
Maybe PZM need to be careful on what they wish for?

In the article, which is mainly about a look back at the 2024 GP and look ahead to 2025, Manchester and all that. Phil states that it is his personal opinion re Emil & Artem being allowed access to the GP's (a view that many folk would agree with) and that he has no involvement in deciding who the wild cards will be.

I still haven't seen any answers to the questions regarding Laguta & Emil being allowed to represent Poland in the SGP series?

Both have Polish citizenship. Same as Rune Holta when he switched from Norway to Poland and represented Poland in the world cups and Grand Prix series. What is the difference here?

Holta's switch was voluntary.

Holta hadn't been banned from FIM events prior to his switch

And as far as I know Norway had not invaded Sweden.

Laguta & Sayfutdinov's switch's were voluntary... also let's not forget that they boycotted participating in the SoN riding for Russia in the past and Emil also hid away in the SEC during the Woffy years.

And that's woke is it? I'm not sure i agree with the wildcard choices but describing it as "woke" is ridiculous tbh.

Of course it's woke, Picking riders based on Nationality rather than picking the best riders available.

All about diveristy in having as many Nationalities compete as possible.

It's pure capitalism which is the very antithesis of woke.

You're forgetting, Arnie, that woke can mean anything the speaker or writer wants it to mean. Usually it just means anything you disagree with.
