Why are on earth are they not allowing drinks and snacks?

I would understand if there was a policy to stop alcohol being brought in, but soft drinks and food should be allowed.

When I used to go to the Showground, me and my girlfriend used to visit Marks and Spencer. We used to buy ready to eat king prawns and M&S triple chocolate cookies.

If i remember rightly Hume chucked away 2 or 3 points when in scoring positions in the home leg of the play off final against Sheffield the season before last that in the end made the difference between Ipi holding on for the aggregate win come the second leg at Sheffield, all ifs buts and maybes after the event tho you could say.

I think it was 7 points from memory.  Leading heat 8 at home and under no pressure whatsoever and falls off.
same rider as Carl Wilkinson Chris scramm Kim jansson Paul Starke. Can’t fault the effort of them all but likely to fall off at anytime

Hume is a likable relatable rider. I think he could be a fans favourite.

You've a team with a lot of egos. Hume is the opposite!

As an outsider I hope he does well for you. (Hope the other 6 flop mind you

Hume is a very likeable lad and I am sure his family would have kept him grounded, I believe when he rode for Poole he worked for his dad when he could. I thought at the time he had potential but it seems he has found premiership level a bit tough in recent years and it will not be easy for him to score many points.

Danyon is a nice guy 100%effort.Thought his equipment let him down a number of times last season though, needs to sort that out.

Interesting that Woffinden says he’s now 100% fit and elbow all healed up, wonder if he’ll have a spin whilst in Aussie?  Still think it’s a massive risk having him in the team coming back from such a big injury

In the last five years of stock cars at Wimbledon they checked bags for food and drink but it never stopped my father and I getting a thermos of coffee plus sandwiches in. Great having deep inside pockets and a bag with my programme board and extra warm clothing which they checked carefully and there was never anything of interest to them. The bag did a great job hiding the bulge in my coat caused by the thermos!
