4BenMoran
Danyon Hume didn’t ride in Premiership in 2024, so could they use his 2024 Championship average of 4.99? If that was converted and with British reduction that comes to 3.26 that’s if I’ve put correct numbers in my calculator 😂

Fozzie4388
Any thoughts on Sheffield becoming the first team to charge people £25 per meeting to get in. Is The British Speedway product really worth that?

I know Leicester have increased their admission but that’s by the standard £1 which is the norm, can’t remember a £2 increase before? Leicester £23 btw so better value. £276 also for a season ticket that is only for the 12 league meetings. 12 league meeting at full £25 is £300, so you’re only saving £24. Not even enough for one full free meeting! That’s terrible value for money and poor from Sheffield. You do get a fiver off the first KOC round for balance, and same again IF they make it to the semi finals, but that’s still awful value for money.

A quick Google of admission prices in 2014 had Coventry at £17, which I’d say is representative of prices at the time. Put £17 into the Bank of England inflation calculator and it would now be worth £22.96 so we are paying over the odds nowadays. Oxford in 2004 was £13 which gives a similar result. TTT
Did Rachel Reeves come up with the ticket pricing structure at Sheffield for 2025?

BluPanther
I certainly wouldn't pay 25 quid to watch speedway on that track, but I would at Belle Vue...

It's getting a little crazy now..it's not just the admission cost,it's the total package, for myself and spouse to go,looking at £50 +3.00 prog + 3.00 parking+5.00 fuel that's £61 before you even factor in any food and drink...that's 4.00 per race,6.00 if it's called off at HT 10.£61 for what equates to 15 mins of racing...value for money? I understand the overheads but....I rest my case,we for one won't be attending this season because of rising costs elsewhere. 3

Just looking BV is/was £24 for the back straight and either £26 or £29 for the grandstand, so whilst you don’t get a seat at Sheffield, not the first to charge £25 by the looks of it
