Howarth had already signed for Leicester long ago.   There's no Sheffield bringing him back.

And if the rumours are true of Holder changing his mind, Sheffield will be looking for a Musielak, Lindgren, Lambert type not a Howarth.

I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say lol.

I know Howarth signed long ago that's why I'm saying Sheffield must have 7 signed, Sheffield don't run a circus and you don't release riders until you've got your 7 signed up, You keep all options open until then.

I've already said Howarth wouldn't be a replacement for Holder, The whole make up of the team would've been different something like C. Holder, Howarth, Pickering, Harris, Woffinden, Rowe & Gilkes.

Yes, and one was Jack Holder.    But the rumour is that he's now changed his mind.

It's really not difficult to understand.

Signed already that proves my point.

It's a nonsense rumour that makes no sense anyway, You don't sign a contract if you're having doubts about riding Owlerton as your home track.

Expecting Jack to be announced with his brother after the AGM next week.

Goodbye Kyle,

And All The best for the future.

Thanks for eight great years. There'll always be a special place for you in the annals of Sheffield speedway history, and a welcome for you on every future visit. Best wishes.

If my understanding is correct a riders fixed term contact expires at 23:59 on the final day in October. Therefore riders are not released. Their contract expires which is a totally different legal situation. If the asset system was challenged in court I am sure it would be found to be restraint of trade which is not allowed for a self employed contractor unless specifics are named. This is not the case with the standard contract.

Harris was signed for next season, until he decided he wanted the club to pay for his mechanic… which then both parties parted ways.

I find that hard to believe for 2 reasons:

1) does that mean Lynn are paying for Harris' mechanic? Most people on the forum say Buster doesn't like paying much

2) what was the team plan when they wanted Harris? Did they have to go back to Woffinden or Pickering & say "actually Harris is too expensive for us, we want you after all"?

I heard personally from a speedway rider 2 days ago that Harris has signed for Lynn 100%… but there is a load of people on here still saying that he’s signed for Sheffield, so I have no idea

One thing for sure he will sign for who pays most.👍

He picked Lynn’s rising star apparently, he wanted Ashton there… so that tells me that he’ll be with the Stars, but we’ll see.

the rider I spoke to is adamant that he’s signed for Lynn
