That doesn’t sound like a signing either. Maybe it’s true and Jack has done a u turn..

My thoughts were the same when reading the wording of the post on X from Sheffield.

Definitely reads as an issue, rather than a positive signing. Hope it’s something else personally, love him or hate him he’s good for the League and we need more riders of his quality here rather than losing them.

100% they announcing jack holder tomorrow 😂

or that howarth is leaving the club for Leicester

Nah can’t be that one Phil. Clubs don’t announce riders signing for others before the signing club announced it themselves. You could be right on the first one though 😁

The rumours mill on here is crazy. Way they’ve worded it i’m guessing it will be thanking Howarth for 10 years of service and wishing him well for next season.

Not saying Jack Holder will 100% be in our team or league 2025 but he lives with his brother and the Cooks in Dorset and I imagine that must be a huge benefit to them all been other side of the world from home. He may need to sort a new mechanic which could be a problem but fairly confident all contracts are signed with the Holders for 25

The Cooks stay with Middlo. The Holders don't.

Puts the Jack Holder rumour to bed nice and early.

Wouldn't have officially announced Howarth's departure if they didn't have signed contracts from 7 riders.

Howarth would have been in the side if one of the power three were leaving as they wouldn't be able to get anyone better around Owlerton on a GSA similar to Kyle's.

No connection.

Howarth had already signed for Leicester, so if young Holder has changed his mind, it's too late to undo the Howarth move.

Anyway Howarth wouldn't be a suitable replacement for Holder.

The Holder rumours go on...

I know he didn't have one of his better seasons but truly sad that Kyle is leaving the club.....first and foremost thankyou Kyle for all the thrill you have given us in your time with Sheffield in both divisions.its been an absolute joy following you in the team, always gave us 110% wherever you were racing and I'll never forget the pairs at Somerset when you won it with Charles...epic riding that night.i don't think this club could have wished for a better captain and it goes without saying that I hope all tigers fans and fans around, including myself, take this opportunity to wish you all the best for the future........thanks a lot skipper!

Being a very well run club I'm pretty sure Sheffield wouldn't be naive enough to release riders without having 7 signed up.

I wouldn't be talking about Howarth being a replacement for Jack, The whole team dynamic would have changed that saw Howarth would come back into the 1-7 with Rowe reverting to a reserve berth (No.6)

Howarth had already signed for Leicester long ago.   There's no Sheffield bringing him back.

And if the rumours are true of Holder changing his mind, Sheffield will be looking for a Musielak, Lindgren, Lambert type not a Howarth.
