Biffa Posted yesterday at 07:02 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 07:02 AM Think his average will push him up to a high second string. Can’t remember properly but think he was pushing a 6.00 average when he last rode 🤷♂️

Does not apply to the Championship. There was a rule, but a different rule to the Prem. For example Adam Roynon (I believe William Lawson too) averaged below 3 but stayed on 3.00. I believed it was once you had averaged over 3 you couldn't drop below it. Maybe the rule has since been dropped? Unless my memory fails me & they both averaged exactly 3.00? People need to remember the low points limit, it's very hard to have a 5 point reserve, a 4 point reserve with potential to improve would be a strong reserve now. Even saw on the Workington page, someone saying Connor Bailey wasn't a strong enough reserve, don't know what points limit they were planning on lol! If Wright signs for a team, would have to be as a second string. Edited 22 hours ago by szkocjasid

This is the 2024 rule (but who knows what they'll do once they're sloshed this week): Quote New riders with a British passport eligible to participate in the NDL will enter the Premiership League on a 3.00 average and the Championship League on a 2.00 average. Once an average has been established, they cannot drop below 3.00 and 2.00 respectively, at any time during the season. Any other rider with an established average, cannot drop below 4.00 in the Premiership or Championship Leagues at any time during the season.
