But as the track has become sodden the home riders feel safer on it than riders who only ride it a couple of times a year.

BV were always clear favourites. The Champions were always coming from the northern semi.

The only way Leicester pull this back is to get the track covered at Beaumont Park for the rain that is due overnight on Wednesday, the track needs to be as near "normal" as possible or they can forget it.
