Even so we were only 12 down entering heat 15 when Lidsey & Mountain got 5-1’d. I’m hoping we put in a better performance but if not fingers crossed Dan and Brady can do better than Jaimon and Connor did in the decider. We don't need to if 12 down going into heat 15 we have won. Forget past meetings it's the playoffs riders go harder. It's not over as 18 isn't impossible, but it's very very hard to pull back 18 points, it does happen but not often.

It's about heat advantages not heat winners Well, you need a heat winner to get a heat advantage! BV had 13, so were unlikely to lose. You could see Leicester settling for 3-3s in at least a couple of races, e.g. when Hagon got into second place - now the trick for BV at Leicester is to do similar, i.e. avoid last places. 1

Anybody would think Ipswich were the only team ever to lose one of their best 2 riders to a long term injury.

Indeed you do, looking at Leicester's 20 point victory in April, which they'll need to replicate, more than half the heats were actually 3-3's! TTT
BV would have to do a choke of all chokes for Leicester to win. This see's BV over the line. Bewley & Kurtz (20 between them) Lidsey & NKI (12 between them) Blodorn, Voulas & Mulford (5 between them and they can do that just by beating Hagon with 3-3's in Heat 2 and Heat 7)

Ok let’s say Doyle and Tai are comparable … you lost Jack for 2 meetings middle of the season when secure in top 4…. We lost Emil for the business end We had Ellis King and Dan Thompson all out injured and all riding with their injuries We when lost Jenkins when he was in form and again at the business end when it’s important Even Rew had one nasty smash at end of the season So no Sheffield has nowhere near the same issues as Ipswich ….. most true fans know Ipswich were unlucky this year but that’s speedway and I’m sure with a full 1-7 we would have seen off Leicester and Sheffield although we would have struggled against Belle Vue as they always thrash us up there!!

You need to remember they lost J.Holder last Thursday as well. Apparently he went missing!

It was an annual thing at Dudley Wood! 89 - Gundersen,& Pedersen. 90 - Pedersen & Cross. A young Hancock also started the season on fire at reserve but was out for a stint. 92 - Pedersen.
