Well first off "well done" to the Pirates in the BSN, but now it's back to the Grand Final and a far bigger challenge with the Cheetahs to overcome. Time for all the Pirates to up their game I'm thinking.

Seems to me that it might be a shrewd move to swap Sam around with Tobias in the 2 and 6 positions?

I think Oxford will just take it over both legs, Hope I'm wrong

I fear that our injuries will allow the Pirates to sink us. We are grateful to Dan Gilkes for guesting but JJ had some cracking rides around Sandy Lane this year. In the same vein, Jody Scott will try his best but he is an NDL rider and not a Championship one. This gives the Pirates quite a big advantage in my opinion, and they are at full strength.

Anyway, can't wait for the action and "Come on you Cheatahs!"

In fact the more I look at it the more one sided this will be

Masters and Heeps may outscore Lawson and Hagon

The Cook brothers at 3 and 4 should double what Boughen and Gilkes get at 3 and 4

Nicholls and Brennan similar

Poole reserves are far stronger

Poole should win both legs

Can’t see Poole choking against  a depleted Oxford

Those are the breaks in speedway we had it at Ipswich this season

Poole can only beat what’s in front of them

And if the oppo are in front, they can pnly beat whats behind them .

Just the one question, I thought Oxford had the 2nd leg, how on earth have Poole wangled the 2nd leg... again?!?

Expand

Lol, cos we finished top and chose it! Only changed because of the weather and since both got rained off back to how it was.

Poole didn't "wrangle" the second leg. Poole were due the second leg, till Oxford's leg was postponed. Then Oxford were going to get the second leg, till Poole's leg was postponed. Now we're back to where it started.

Do Poole fans really get on the backs of their riders if they're not performing... that's a few times has mentioned it now! Or was it just Rory they had problems with 😂
