Yes you're right! I remember now Nicki was having a right go at TRick on the way back to the pits and TRick just blanked him lol.

Even the best get out wrong from time to time.

Track issues obviously caused that, Rickardsson had to be excluded, I think that's what he was saying to Nicki as he appeared to be pointing to the track. No point listening to Nicki screaming at him, I understand why he's upset, but Rickardsson didn't do it on purpose.

I've not seen tonight's crashes, so can't comment of if any of the riders can blame the track for knocking off their opponents.

See you edited to embellish your point ,Ashton Boughen is nothing like kasparzak he is a very young rider and has many years ahead of him and a slight lack of confidence is no reason to suggest he is like a journeyman like kasperzak

A journeyman? Kasprzak was a world number 2. If Boughen can have a career like KK did, he'll have done very well

Does that go for the behaviour of your rider and his dad ?

If they are going to start on him, what do they expect? Vinnie not going to stand there and take it. Maybe not do it when he is stuck under the air fence!

What about Oxford fans apparently threatening children according to a fan on twitter?

I wasnt saying he is like a journeyman like kasprazak, it’s the point about him wining a race beating the best and then shutting off in his next ride and goes missing, it isn’t a slight lack of confidence it’s a massive lack of confidence,as I said there is a difference between losing and shutting off, shutting off is a sign you don’t want to be there and for a rider so young that’s a problem, what I see is a rider who doesn’t like to be in traffic, is a world beater when he gets fresh air but gets frightened when anyone around him

Spot on!

Wow. Just back from a very lively Wimborne Road. Super efficient job done by the Pirates (Tobias 10+2 season best!). Shame that Oxford choked on their 12 point first leg lead when the pressure was on, especially having won there previously! Still another great night for Pirate fans and a huge crowd and atmosphere. Bring on the KO CUP Final - no dates yet!!!!😍

Just got back from a fantastic final. If you didn’t like that you don’t like speedway. Huge crowd, fantastic atmosphere wound up to eleven, top aggressive riding and knocked the Belle Vue / Leicester PO final into a cocked hat.

First of all commiserations to Oxford who battled well in the final and had a deserved advantage coming into the second leg. 12 points is a hell of a lead with no tactical allowed. But it seemed there was trouble afoot in the Oxford camp before tapes up. Boughen had upset the management and rumours said he was packed and in his van by heat 13 of the first leg. Then his failure to show in the u19 final the following day. Hearsay today is that he wants to go to Glasgow. Be interesting how this plays out.

Killeen was meant to be a serious threat at reserve but before the meeting it was very quiet on his fitness after taking a heavy fall in the U19’s at Cowley. Given a hard time in heat 2, and rightly excluded, he then fell on his own which ended his evening. Paid 14 last time, zero tonight.

Every race was tough. Every rider giving beyond their comfort zone, shown straight away in heat one. Richard Lawson said he thought he was through on Masters going into the third bend but Masters started leaning, and leaning, then slid off. Lawson thought it was a tactical fall but those are the margins.

Heat two and although Killeen gated, both Pirates were through on him going down the back straight. Killeen tried to get a place back but clipped Vinnie Ford and down he went. The right call and gifted Pirates a 5-1.

Special mention to Tobias Thomsen with a brilliant paid 12 from 5. He started the season well, faded after an injury, but was man of the match for me.

Vinnie is brilliant. Only 17 but what a battler. Never gives up. Yes he makes mistakes but I would have him signed for next year already. Going to be a bit of a star imo.

Our top 4 all did their job tonight. Brennan said afterwards the reason Poole had to work hard tonight was his fault as he’s employed as a heat leader but rode very poorly in the first leg and wanted to make it up. Certainly did.

Both Cooks did their job though afterwards Ben was far from happy running a last.

For Oxford Masters was solid but faded, Nicholls had a bit of a stinker. Gilkes was a good guest, Heeps did what Heeps does, Boughen gated in one race, Killeen was injured and Scott out of his depth.

This is what our sport is about. Tonight had everything. Hard racing, drama, crashes, a huge noisy crowd and Pirates crowned Champions. What’s not to like?

Hope the Oxford fans had a safe journey home and the good news is we do it all over again next week in the KO Cup Final. Will Oxford get their revenge or will it be a clean sweep for Pirates?

poole were pretty filthy.  won dirty maybe the best way to describe the comeback.

It's just a mix of testosterone and adrenaline, what the Pirates could have done with on Saturday night. The advantage was for the Cheetahs tonight, I guess they didn't want it as much. A great night all in all. Particularly enjoyed heat four watching Tom giving Nicholls the minimum of room around turns 1/2 quite different to heat four on Saturday.

Great result well deserved.

Let's face it, even before losing Killeen Oxford were always going to be up against it. Barring one ride and a bloody good ride at that Boughen and Scott over the two meetings have scored 4 and 5 respectively with Scott not beating an opponent. Add in Nicholls poor performance tonight, beating only the two reserves in heat four and Hagon in heat six. The writing was on the wall. Poole were there for the taking, but Nicholls and Killeen needed to be on it. Unfortunately For Oxford that wasn’t the case. Too many passengers. They will have do something different  if they want any chance of beating Poole in the cup. Otherwise it will be the treble for the Pirates.

Heat 2 was a bit like when Vinny Jones clattered one of the Liverpool players in the 1st minute of the FA cup final.  Only this time Poole's Vinny made sure Oxford's trump reserve was clattered, with the end result 0 points for Killeen!😉

Looks like it's down to whether or not Oxford's top 2 can beat Brennan.

And they couldn't Brennan must be one of the signings of the season made a massive impact at Poole

Don't need  to watch it. Killen was not taken out by Foord.

Scott Nicholls was rolling at the start so it was called back.

Ben Cook did not take out Ashton Boughen.

Your post is complete nonsense apart from the Vinnie Foord and Jody Scott incident which Vinnie was at fault.

Plus your stupid comment saying the ref was a homer.

It's Poole not Poodle.
