Schroeck was interviewed at length during the Under-19 Championship today. Gave the usual spiel about how proud of the boys he was, happy with a 12-point lead etc., etc., but never once mentioned anything about heat 12. Either he is keeping quiet, or he still doesn't realise his mistake. I'm going for the latter.

It was quite clear he cocked up. Boughen not on form should never been allowed to take his fourth ride. Hope that decision don’t bite him on his arse regarding losing on aggregate by 2.  A football manager would have been sacked if he did that

As a matter of interest who interviewed him ?

If Oxford keep Boughen in for Wednesday then I think Poole will win this overall.

Think it also depends who Oxford get in as guests. Gilkes (who hasn't excelled at Poole in the past) and Scott are probably not going to score many points either.

Currently both teams are unchanged although Oxford switch Gilks to 2 with Heeps to 4.

Well that would be good news if Giles and Heeps perform like they did last time out at Wimborne Road. Getting the better of Masters, Nicholls and Killeen a more tricky issue.

Yes that is what we are hoping and hopefully the manager forgets to take him out of heat 12!

It's considered a win if Oxford manage to track two riders in a race.

Rather both teams use their riders than have a guest come in because a rider is off form.

Going to be difficult for Pirates to start strong with Masters in heat one who is virtually unbeatable with Gilkes at two seeing of Hagon, then Killeen in heat 2 it should see Oxford 14 up. Lawson needs to beat Masters out of the traps. Not an easy task but one which needs to be made if Pirates can get that 12 points back. It really needed to be 8 or ten and worse.
