Oxford v Poole v Oxford; Weds 25th and Fri 27th Sept

Not looking forward to the mad dash (not exceeding speed limit) from Leicester to Oxford later. Accepting I will probably miss the first 4 heats. Hope there’s someone on the gate for late arrivals.

Ring the club Steve and explain your situation , just in case.

Yes I'd gathered that Lisa. I was just questioning how 2 folk cud get it wrong. 😀

Easy I've obviously got a talent with errors.

Just wasn't very familiar with Gilkes (alias Wilkes) and Scott. I see they both did a fair ish job in the KO semi at Sandy Road. I'm thinking the lower order could make all the difference tonight.

Toying with the idea of riding up there, but don't really fancy getting soaked on the way back home.

Take a ladder Steve just in case. You may be able to peer over the top

You having fun taking the mick out of somebody who has only just joined the forum and is - possibly - a new speedway fan? What a nice welcome for him, from a fellow Poole fan no less. Not everybody is an expert!

Looking forward to this.

If Oxford pull out the best in their riders they could sneak it…but need a reasonable start from the first leg.

Go for it Oxford… always had a soft spot for Oxford as they were the first team I saw at Belle Vue in 1963.
