I think both call offs were right but your hypocrisy in not calling out Poole the way you did Oxford is now visible for everyone to see.

Too much rain yesterday, today and tonight. It will still be wet at 7.30 tomorrow even with a mainly dry day tomorrow.
therefused
With the mess of a track they have in Poole one drop of rain would cause it to be called off so it’s a fair enough decision 1

lucifer sam
Any truth in the rumour that both Poole and Oxford have called in track expert Starman to offer his priceless pearls of wisdom for both October 5 and October 9. 1

Essex
7 hours ago, Steve Shovlar said: So Poole V Oxford now 9th October at Wimborne Road. We get second leg after all and Ben should be back for both legs. And so Poole should as they are the rules, any team would want the second leg at their home track as if they win the celebrations would be good for the home team what is wrong with that ? As for all the nonsense talking of Poole do this or that just accept Poole as well as being a lovely place have had and still do have winning promoters, any court cases of corrupt practices no well not that I know of just people secretly although they won't admit it but wishing they had the success Poole have had all be it they are well supported which helps with the finance to find success. 1

Pirates Of Poole
Had more rain this morning in centre of Poole so again probably the best decision! Roll on next Saturday for the first leg, this will be a cracker! Got a feeling it will get heated on the terraces at Oxford next Saturday! Did last meeting we were up, considering I have a season ticket for both clubs I hadn't seen it all season with any other club. Some of the language from the Oxford fans on the 4th bend side was very poor, especially with kids around! People I normally stand with are always polite and chatty. Makes for a more exciting clash and I'm sure the stadium will be packed, good business for Oxford and Poole with big gates, speedway will be the winner that's the most important thing!
