I've seen that now through BSN update on fixtures, doesn't the league take priority over the other fixtures

There's no reason for that to happen though, all meetings have to be raced. Would be a shame for any Scunny fans who have taken time off work & possibly booked hotels if there meeting was put back a week.

This is what happens sadly when you are trying to run 3 finals last week of September going into October, weather starts to play its part and we spend more time worrying about that than the actual exciting meeting about to happen.

Happens often, clubs don't bother racing KOC / BSN matches because they want to complete the league season, so all finals raced close together at the end of the season (in difficult weather).

Last season was better when the BSN finals were much earlier on.

It won't be as Oxford won't ride on that Weds anyway.

What a great advert for speedway that would be.... "meeting postponed because Poole want to host the second leg..."   For Heavens sake.

And we are entitled to it.

Entitled is certainly a good word when it comes to Poole.

We finished top, end of story.

So do you all think if next Monday is wet and the following Thursday dry that Leicester would change their day to the following week to get the second leg? No, they wouldn't want to and wouldn't be allowed because of the tv coverage especially if the track is good.

I'm not anti Poole but this situation is fairly unique to Poole and has been for the last 25 years at least. Your 'entitlement' was to have the choice of dates coming top, but that should be the end of the 'entitlement' and meetings should surely be run the day you've chosen if weather intervenes with the other date. Heading for wet dreadful meetings at end of October, or another November extension again when you look at the long range forecast if matches aren't got on with at every opportunity.

And you've made your choice, but you don't get to choose the weather

There is some stupid talk on here.

If Oxford is postponed Poole will be the first leg end of.

I have this from the promoters mouth earlier today.

And Poole are at home next Wednesday to Scunthorpe as already agreed and that will not change.
