I thought Connor had completed his apprenticeship, or did you mean "now"?

Wasn't the opening Edinburgh derby trophy traditionally the spring trophy, cleverly in the shape of a spring? It's an extra meeting either way so all good

Yeah then Scottish cup always near the end.

Greatest trophy in sport the spring trophy. Big spring attached to a bit wood . 😂

His bottle didn't go he had mental health issues and decided to take some time away from speedway mean time.

The last thing anyone should do if going through mental health problems is to turn their back on what they loved doing. A lot of sports stars have come to regret walking away whilst their careers were in full swing. I'm pretty sure he won't feel any better being an ex-rider. Sometimes you've just got to ride the storm until it has passed. Just my opinion on the matter.

If your "head" isn't on the job in hand, then stepping away from speedway is a sensible thing to do, IMO.  Last thing you want is to be "elsewhere" in your head when on a speedway track with 3 others doing speeds of up to 60mph.

I agree with this 100%.

I hope Connor isn't lost to the sport but greater than that, much greater, I hope I find peace and happiness.
