Can't see any other team getting near that side.

Just wait till the injuries hit,Hopefully not though.

Much like Sheffield this coming season, cracking top 5 but massively lacking at reserve. Don't really get the signing of Hodder, struggled to score over 3 bar one guest booking at the arse end of the season. Hopefully it's a case that both Perry and Hodder for the most part a season at Championship under their belt and can push on this season.  But for me, feels like a mistake to have two riders that have averaged under 2 in the same team.

Should make the play offs, but not a side I can see winning the league.

Well lets hope that Dan likes the track and gets drawn in the SPG2 qualifier at Glasgow. That could be a very astute signing for both the club and the rider

Dan T is the key man for me.

Never really rated Hodder, only really built a reputation on being decent at NSS in much the same vein as Sam McGurk and yet he is the reserve i would be concerned about least. Glasgow is a physical track and i don't see Perry as a physical rider. Pickings might be slim but personally i would have chosen Max James or Tom Spencer if given the head to head choice.

I agree re Max James mixing it more than Perry. I'm less sure about Spencer who at present is a better rider than the other but gets his points based on his gating.

Based on the couple of times I saw Perry last year I was not sure how fit he was as he appeared to be struggling on the bike and his style was different to how I remember it being in 2023. He looked less relaxed and more ridged on a bike.

Confirmed as expected. Video was a good idea but not up to their usual standard

Harris

Boughen

D Thompson

Flint

Howarth

Perry

Hodder

That's got to be one of the weakest reserve line-ups I've seen at this level for a long time.

Brilliant getting cruz in the video. Happy with that team, what you'd gain at reserve you'd lose in top 5. I'm sure professor Harris will be holding several classes over the season with the particularly the reserves. End of the day if they can score 4 points a meeting between them that should be enough!

2 years ago if never have had howarth but has been very good last few visits so sure will provide the back up to bomber.

Should have said goodbye to Flint and spent the points on better reserves. Dan Thompson will fulfil what Flint can do, so why have four heat leaders, it's not necessary and suppresses the 4th one. Brainless

Maybe hoping this is Flint step up year. Its a  decent Team though.Quite sure anyone not up to scratch won’t be there long.

Leon will kick on this year. Good looking lineup. Thought Hodder may have repaid the faith Berwick showed in him last year unless he was told he wouldn’t be returning.

I assume Rowe was pencilled in there but changed his mind and went to Poole. Leon was de facto no.2 for most of last season. Bit less pressure I'd say next year and if maintains his average with the hopeful improvement from elsewhere will have done his job imo

He did a YT interview/podcast thing in October time where he said he signed for his Champ team 2 months previous to that, so August?

That was when our season finished pretty much. Think he'd made the decision before finished up with us. Maybe wasn't enjoying the travelling who knows. Shame reckon he'll be near an 8 by end of season

At worky in 24 seasom  we had two of the weakest reserves  and had shed loads of heat 2 reversals . then you had them pairing up with the number 5 rider . heat 12 and 14 were the same . all these pairings will curtail any heat advantages for Glasgow .      luck was on workingtons side when tate got going . P Starke gave us the points we missed out on early season .Glasgow will need points fron 6 and 7 in the playoffs otherwise is curtains

looks good on paper , but .

What happened with Howarth saying he wanted a track nearer home!!!

He never said that, believe it was Godfrey just making up a reason for the fans instead of saying he turned Scunthorpe down for 2024

Plus if he flys up rather than in van with mechanic (his mechanics are Manchester based from memory) it’ll be quicker than the van journey up to Scunny from his Wiltshire home
