A stadium inferior to Poole,a track maybe better than Poole,a promotion clearly no where near as good as Poole ( trophies titles ) and supporters who turn up in more numbers at Poole, why have a go at Poole, don't label all Poole supporters with the same brush as I have no axe to grind with any club supporters and I have said before I wish all teams were the same would make all matches closer. Why can't your team attract better riders the Italian bloke is no no1 and Barker is no no 5 is it down to money or location you seem pretty knowledgeable why are Plymouth never challenging for trophies ?

If it's gonna be all the same riders in league & trophy, will travelling expenses not be the same? May mean less visiting fans, but I don't think they'd expect many at Development league level. I guess they could always hold junior challenge matches against Workington, Edinburgh & Redcar to judge crowd levels? Glasgow will be running a NDL level Glasgow select team in 2025 with the focus being entering the League in 2026. Andrew Meredith & Gordon Mcdonald will be the team managers, and will be running 'friendlies', individuals & challenge events. After each event all riders from both teams will be given track time after the meeting to allow them to work on things that they may have struggled with while racing. Glasgow will be looking at running on a Sunday for NDL level racing ,with Glasgows track staff running practise days to help with the team funding. Where Glasgow has fallen behind in youth development, 2025 should see a significant change to that. 4

Inferior stadium really, I’m guessing you haven’t been up lately if at all.

It's the first small step to reaching the target of an NDL place in the not too distant future. No matter what is chosen to call the competitions in the interim period it is competitive track time that counts for youngsters at that level. The more the better really and practise time too. 👍

Apparently the NDL sides are happy with the amount of meetings they get so any new teams had to enter the Trophy. No difference, except location of opponents obviously. If you build a reasonable 1-7 and are up against similar strength opposition then the racing should be just as good. Then it's,a question of how you promote/publicise your club and its fixtures. If the gap in quality is reduced between a Number 1 and a Number 7 then the racing should be closer and more exciting. Therefore a better quality product. I have seen some cracking NDL meetings at Leicester in the last two years. Edited 1 hour ago by SJA
