Can't team ride!
Gavan
People need to realise that with Danny as second string he will be paired with let’s say Doyle in 3 if his 4 races ….. So against Sheffield he will be with Doyle and then one of J Holder C Holder or Tai …. Realistically he is going to be third in those races .. may occasionally beat the opposing third heat leader ….. His job is to then win heat 8….. that will give him 6 points every home meeting ….. same scenario as Ellis who would need to win heat 14 If Ellis and Danny get a minimum of 6 they will have done their jobs …. 46 wins you a meeting and I can see our top 3 getting 34 most meetings between and that’s without factoring in the reserves What I’m trying to explain is last year Danny at number 3 would have been against 2 second strings or a reserve and one opposing heat leader … fair to say he should be getting 2 points in those races ….. so this season I can see his points going down but purely due to being the third best rider in the race rather than the second best ….

Doubt you will be getting 34pts from your top 3 every meeting minimum will be Doyle 10,Emil 10 and Brennan 7 and the others king5,ellis 5,Thompson 5 and Jenkins 2 is the minimums per meeting I’d expect them all to get that’s 44 can’t see many of those riders falling short of those totals on a regular basis. positive end could well be 34 but not every meeting. TheSmiler
What a team Ipswich have assembled. Potentially one of the best teams in recent history. If I was an Ipswich supporter I would be so excited for next season.

That’s a dangerous ideology for anyone to have about anything but that along with the insults has made it very clear to me I’m flogging a dead horse once again. Hope all your riders have a profitable and safe season.

Can't team ride! Seem to recall Brennan had a falling out with Charles Wright, in fact one of their spats occured at Ipswich! (actually it was more Charles falling out with Tom) Regardless really happy Tom has signed as I rate him and he seems popular at Foxhall already due to a few guest slots Edited Tuesday at 11:43 AM by GeneralMelchett

Badge
Absolutely over the moon with this team, the class of 2024, and that includes Tom, have unfinished business 😜. Very best of luck to Keynan wherever he is riding in 2025, he was an integral part of team Witch. Well done CL and Ritchie for getting this team together and a special mention to Henners, inspired announcement social media 👏 Happy pits again that's for sure. Teromaafan
With the signing of Brennan now official, it also confirms the points limit for team building, which is of particular interest for many people ahead of the new season. I'm intrigued as to what other important matters need to be sorted/agreed over the next three days in the Spanish sunshine.

KIRKYLANE
It will be exceedingly difficult to match Ipswich in 2025. Doubt you will get any decent odds in betting circles to make any money on your bet

No signing is official until a full 1-7 is submitted and accepted by the BSPL office. It could be that Ipswich have announced their 1-7 in an attempt to put pressure on others still fighting for a 39 limit...

castrolargh
Very risky naming the full team before the AGM has finished. Anyone remember how Coventry and Peterborough got shafted a few years ago

It’s a shame for everyone else that Doyle and Emil have no interest in riding for any other team. Keep dreaming Ipswich ain’t going nowhere but to the top step. Just hope we nail Sheffield in every match we meet them in.

LagutaRacingFan
A shame to see Ipswich Tom Brennan away from Birmingham. Birmingham are desperate and they really needed to hold onto him. The sooner we see a salary cap in speedway, the better. Lionsman66
I'm sorry to say this but it still makes Witches barely a 3 man team with Brennan added to the equation. Dan is gonna be the key to the team though as he has mix it up if any big boys get injured ( we all know it's gonna happen)
