If the worst happens and Birmingham don’t come to tapes, they may decide to drop the points limit to help another club come up and be competitive. I would be very surprised if pretty much everything hasn’t already been decided, the AGM just rubber stamps it, and then they trot out this is the best AGM for years and everyone is pulling together. You need to read the comments above from ouch as my post has clearly gone over your head. It isn’t any different, and I’ve no problem with riders going to where the best deal is. It’s @ouch who seems to have an ongoing issue with it where Ipswich are concerned. He won’t have any issue whatsoever with his beloved Belle Vue “cherrypicking” Rew though. Strange that. SaddlebowRoad
taking into account the completely fair enough dig at our friend ouch, id imagine IF rew ends up at bv it would be because of the track and lemon

Hate to disagree with @Aroundtheboards here, but there categorically WAS interest from Belle Vue before this season even ended. Let’s just wait and see where he ends up, or if he even rides here at all because that’s not even certain either. 2021 to be exact.

Wondered why Louis publicly got a bit defensive on Rew towards the end of the season with his “he’s our rider” quip. Thought it was a strange comment to come out with at the time but it now makes sense. Obviously things going on behind the scenes. Tom RS and a bit further back Max 4.80. I’m sure a Ipswich recent historian can fill us in with much the same. 🤣 Maybe look up what cherry-pick actually means. TTT Posted yesterday at 12:20 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:20 PM Would Ipswich get into a bidding war for Rew if BV flashed the ££££? Ipswich wouldn't lose out imo because they'd end up with Ellis who's statistically very strong around Foxhall anyway and he's a little bit better than Rew away from home. It's win win either way. Ipswich are one of the higher payers. Rew is on a good deal, and he's happy to stay. This time last year people thought Adam Ellis was off to Belle Vue, (so many people saying he wanted to join his mate Bewley) but BV were never interested in bidding against Ipswich. I expected Ellis to be moved on this year, but I keep being told Danny King is the one to go from Ippo. 1
