I hope either doesn’t get pushed aside and forgotten about. 3 hours ago, Steve Irving said: Only picture I can see was them clearing out the drains. Nothing about the banking or “digging up the inside of the track”, nada, zip. More hot air PR from Louis? “Extra banking which will improve the racing immeasurably”, youth event announced with great fanfare and yet no fixture on the fixture list. So far nothing has been delivered. Still time, let’s see. Given that neither the Championship or Development leagues fixtures have been announced yet, I'm not surprised the U19 match hasn't been put in the fixtures yet. If everything else is announced & still no news, then you can be suspicious lol!
foreverblue
Considering how well Rew seems to be performing, does the Ipswich faithful think it was a mistake letting him go?

Possibly, but you have to believe the club has done what it considers best for the team...

No 1) I thought Rew made the decision to leave & go elsewhere, so not much Witches can do about that. 2) I think Ipswich look the strongest team by far & should be massive favourites for the league already. Even if Rew outscores King & Ellis, still favour the Witches over any other team. 3) for Birmingham's sake I really hope he does have a good season

If Rew had wanted to stay he would have been in the team in place of Danny. For his own reasons he wanted to move on although I’m not sure a move from Ipswich to Brum is going to help his development given the set up Ipswich have. I think it’s only for a season anyhow so good luck to the lad.

gazzac
I imagine there must be some sort of wage structure/budget for middle order riders outside of the top end of Sayfutinov and Doyle. If Ellis and King are on the same(or very similar) money and maybe even Brennen, if Rew wanted quite a bit higher the decision was made for Ipswich on cost and team cohesion. If it became knowledge to the other remaining 2 he was on more money would probably damage a bit of team spirit from the get go.

I also think that keynan may find other teams aren’t as professional and regular paymasters as some other clubs. he only knows the Ipswich way of doing things and I think he may be surprised at how some teams are run in comparison. undoubtably keynan is a great prospect but he attained his average from reserve and it took him 3 months to oust Dan Thompson from the team. I think he will have a year away and return to foxhall next season.
