ouch Posted yesterday at 08:37 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:37 AM Ipswich running a junior meeting is great and should be applauded (don’t need this ott press release nor did it warrant a mention in the AGM statement) as should their track work to improve the racing. Brilliant Pointless, inflammatory, irrelevant, or offensive content by posters does not move things forward but only serves to reinforce the point they refused to address. Best way to shut me up is to post facts, preferably with sources. "Opinions don't affect facts. But facts should affect opinions, and do, if you're rational." Baldyman
Great news that yet again they are altering the track,, extra banking is what it's always needed,, and surprised that wasn't done when the track was taken in 5 metres. Foxhall really will benefit from this and should improve racing vastly.
JamesB
You have to give Louis credit, he has done pretty much everything he can with the track within the constraints imposed to improve the racing spectacle.

If you are referring to Kings Lynn as the scapheap then we will have to agree to disagree on that. I’ve had many a great day/night there. Also with regards your second paragraph then you can insert any name you want from the 2024 Aces team as the fact is we needed to release one of them by necessity due to the rules - remember them? Did you really need to refer to me as boomer? It feels like pointless, inflammatory, irrelevant, or offensive content.

Must admit I had to google it and I’m still not sure. I don’t think it’s a term of endearment and wonder why you would add it to a response when we are all fans chatting speedway. Probably a bit of naivety on my part. All the best though, looking like a great league this year.

You’ve previously claimed rew was unceremoniously dumped on the scrapheap by Ipswich - merely using your words to point out same can be said for Ben cook 👍 also One further point - you said if you’re rational then facts should affect opinions, Chris Louis stated rew left mostly for his own reasons yet you continue to slander Louis and Ipswich claiming he was unfairly sacked. Sounds like some contradiction that or are you not rational?

Aries
There is no such thing as a rider being “sacked” after October 31st. Every rider becomes a free agent after this date, and is then free to negotiate terms with anyone they choose. Likewise, every promotion are free to negotiate with anyone they choose to assemble a team of seven riders for the new season. They can be any seven riders, as long as the septet falls below an agreed points limit. Just because a rider(s) has ridden for a certain team that season, doesn’t mean they have any right to a team place the following year. That’s all self explanatory and common sense. To most people.

Sounds like some contradiction that or are you not rational? The same cannot be said of Ben as we ensured he had a place at Kings Lynn before announcing his departure. I think Keynan would have stayed whatever if you had not opted for Tom in his place. I could be wrong through. It’s all opinions and mine will never change and I can understand your desire to back up your management. Looking forward to our battles this coming season. A final would be awesome with these two teams.

Why wouldn’t he? They just couldn’t come to an agreement on terms it’s as simple as that. It happens all the time. Good luck to him at Birmingham, they’ve got themselves a terrific young rider with bags of potential.
