Both Belle Vue & Sheffield will have just as good a sides and put up a challenge. Just look at the results at NSS nothing to fear good team yes but beatable I'm sure you would get same answer if you asked Brady or any other member of the team they will be confident and I share their beliefs

You’re naive in the extreme if you don’t believe that. They’ll be smirking to themselves reading this, they’ll know. They won’t admit it on here of course! I’ll admit that I was happy when Doyle and Emil were out of action, but not the fact that they got hurt… I’d rather their bikes got stolen or something but then returned at the end of the season haha

Doyle had just had a horror crash, nobody knew the injuries he’d sustained as was was whisked away in an ambulance. Old Daniel Smiths first post? He didn’t give a shiny sh!t about Doyle. All he was interested in was his team now had a golden chance (which they inevitably didn’t take). Someone getting a little bit 'insane in the membrane' hey 😤 Many rider's get injured, in the back of an ambulance & the meeting continues. Chill the stress. Other than Brennan & Thompson there are no average improvers in the side. Doyle, Sayfutdinov, King & Ellis are all injury prone and are on a downward trajectory in performance terms. Yet, I think there are less question marks on this septet than the predicted Aces & Tigers lineups. I'm quite glad they plumped for Ellis & King over Rew, if they had that option. I would say Brennan, Dan T, Ellis, Sayfutdinov & Jenkins could all be expected to up their averages. Can't see any team getting close to them over the regular season tbh. 2

Seems absurd that you suggest that Emil is on the decline - Or have I misinterpreted?

Sometimes riders have a not great season for different reasons, to repeat an old saying form is temporary, class is permanent.

For someone on a decline at the time of his crash he was 3rd in the averages for the league behind Doyle and J Holder. But yes he's on a decline 😂 and for him being injury prone. Every rider would be out with the injury he sustained, I don't see him having time off for a dodgy shoulder or concussion because he rarely crashes

Love watching him ride, it is a sight to behold, Sheffield's track caught him out.

Wouldn't mind a Berwick rider being in decline and be in the top 5 or 6 of the averages in various countries for the past few seasons. 2

His mechanical issues were well documented both here and in Poland. Once sorted he was back to the form he showed the previous season where he comfortably topped the averages. He’s now on a figure a point less than the one he started on, there’s an increase there. He’s another reason we’ve managed to squeeze in the team we have, alongside five brits with reductions and one of them on a 25% reduction. Our main competition you’d think, will all have a weaker team on paper than they did this year. We probably won’t get another opportunity as good as next year for a while, they’ve built absolutely superbly. Brennan is an important addition and should strengthen what was already a strong 2023 team. You can argue the respective merits of the King/Rew/Ellis combination but not sure that any of the three options would be significantly stronger. If what I have been told is correct, then the final composition may have been down to the omitted rider being offered a substantially better financial package which the Witches were not prepared to match. Diamonds85
I wonder what this 'new initiative' that ipswich are doing towards youth is...? Got to be more than just adding a team in the NDL the way it's worded. Perhaps it's just youth second half series? A bit like what Redcar have been doing for years... Anyone got any ideas?

He had a bad start - bikes were the issue for part of last season - he was actually more like the Emil of 2023 when he was injured
ShanoXtra
Ipswich vs Belle Vue in the knock out cup!!! That will be a tasty one for a quarter final! I believe Rew is riding in Britain next year also.

An idea only But could see maybe Guy sponsoring a Tru7 Series, maybe 2nd half meetings 4 riders, 4 races, they go into a league table then the top 4 have a grand final at the end of the season So say 12 home league matches 16 selected riders 12 rounds 3 participation rounds per rider Grand Final maybe part of Doyles end of season testimonial
