I dont see that at all, he had some good meetings last season and he was carrying an injury so if he can get the hand sorted the only way is up.

You’re entitled to your opinion also and I totally respect it.

I think Danny’s average will fall for one reason … he is riding at number 2

As a number 3 you face opposition heat leaders in every race along with a weaker rider from each team … let’s say at number 3 you lose to the opposition heat leader but beat the two lesser riders … that’s 8 points from 4 rides

If Danny rides at number 2 he will be with Doyle and an opposing heat leader so in those instances he will get three third places and hopefully a win in heat 8 thus making 6 points

Some brain dead Ipswich fans will probably not understand this and expect that Danny’s average will rise

Personally, and this is just my view I see Danny King falling off a cliff massively next year. Excellent servant to Ipswich speedway, and that cannot be doubted, just feel next year pushes him so far over the hill.

As it keeps getting said you need riders who are going to improve their average. I see DK’s going one way and KR’s going the complete opposite direction, hence why I think Ipswich look vulnerable.

The other question mark is Ipswich are now heavily dependent on 3 out of their top 5 recovering fully from quite serious and nasty injuries in 2024. That for me is a lot of uncertainty going into the new season

Danny won’t fall off any cliff.

You will never get 7 riders improving their average… you only need 3 or 4 to do that …. I maybe wrong I haven’t checked but Belle Vue won the league and I’m sure Bewley Lidsey and Blödorn didn’t add much to their averages if at all

As mentioned people need to realise that King riding at 2 with Doyle means in those heats he is likely to only get third places and hopefully win heat 8 to get 6 a meeting ….sometimes he will get 8 when beating the opposing heat leader but sometimes only get 4 or 5 if an opposing second string like a Blödorn or Pickering beats him …. That’s where he is and that’s more than acceptable

If King does ride at 2 and he gets gate 1 in heat 1, then I would hope that he would have the beating of some of the opposition heat leaders coming off gate 4. Holder minor for one. 😀

I have been told by a source which I trust that it’s Doyle and Brennan, however let’s wait and see.

If it is Brennan & not Rew then something clearly went wrong with Rew resigning.

The comment from Danny could explain it as in his interview he wasn’t sure he’d be back.

Truth be known we will never know though Rew Brennan & Ellis has more room for improvement than King Brennan & Ellis.

wont be long until we find out.

No, it's going to be same old same old in 2025, with maybe one or two changes...

Chris was always intending to go 'same again' as much as he could, with just one possible tweak. We will all know soon enough...

It’ll be that moment when Rew rides against the Witches at foxhall and gets the better of King… cor I can image the uproar now!!

If Rew doesn't ride for us next season hopefully he won't ride for anyone else and do what Lidsey did with BV and come back to us as a trump card another season

Where would he go though? Already riding in Poland again (not with Leszno) so I guess Sweden or Denmark? I’m totally out of sync with the other two leagues as I only keep tracks of England and Poland

Doesn’t say anything about Rew? I only keep tabs with English and polish league due to witches and Gorzów. That website isn’t up to date as Gorzów team is complete apart from one. And the team manager and president is different.
