King's Lynn Stars 2025

2 from Cook, Kvech or Klindt need to go in my opinion, before the next set of averages in May. If we genuinely have playoff aspirations this season, we can’t afford Harris to be carrying 2/3 riders every meeting, especially away from home.

1. GP standard rider - 8.00

2. Harris - 6.06

3. Lawson - 6.91

4. Iversen 6.83

5. Cook - 6.99 / Kvech - 6.58 / Klindt - 6.59

6. Mid-range reserve standard rider - 5.00

7. Boughen - RS

Total - 39.79 / 39.38 / 39.39

Would Kerr fit as the 5 pointer?

I don't know what's happend to Ben Cook, Is his heart elsewhere now that he's made it in Poland and Sweden? The drop off is staggering for a rider who's got better and better year on year.

Buster certainly needs to start making some calls otherwise the season will be over in a blink of an eye.

I'd look at replacing Jan Kvech because he's not worth anywhere near his average away from the AFA.

I'd Keep Nicolai Klindt as I think he'll improve once the Championship season starts as he'll get a lot of confidence from that and he'll be on the bike more regularly.

Cook would be the first to go if I was in charge. In fact I wouldn't have had him in my team to start.Always thought he would be a weak link due to his inflated average from riding at Belle Vue.It will be even more of a problem if he went to reserve. If he doesn't gate whenever I have seen him he never seems to change his line to make an overtake, that is frustrating.

As per rules,by the looks of it now you can make changes up until you have completed 75% of the your fixtures, after that you can't.

I think cook is getting far too much stick.  He is a very good second string but not a number one.
he hasn’t been a championship number one even last year he rode mostly at number 3 rather than 5 which is the easier heat leader berth.
whoever is number one at lynn is going to struggle because of how the team is built. I have no doubt cook will drop to reserve and score prolifically and bomber will go to number one and he will struggle against fellow number one’s.
I think Lynn will do ok at home most weeks but could struggle against the likes of Ipswich and Sheffield

Didn't you say earlier he looked distraught in the pits? You don't do that if you aren't bothered about riding in England.

Maybe we should have moved up. As can guarantee they would have built a team so he was at 3 rather than 1.

Tbf if he was at Berwick instead of Poole he may have had a taste at no1 in the Championship. He got put back to ride at 3 as Tom Brennan was just racing Zach all the time, when Zach gated which sometimes messed him up a bit when he took his line.

When do averages change? I would wait to see who does what in next home meeting first.

It feels like we've been there, done that, and some. Surly not again.
