King's Lynn Stars 2025

Anders is a million miles ahead of Thompson. Why are they even being compared in the first place as they're at different stages of their careers.

British Speedway (Premiership or Championship) is not the yard stick.

The fact Rowe is learning in Poland's U24E is far more progressive than anything served up here.

In 2 years Thompson could be better, but right now, not a chance.

Of course it is. It’s where they can both be compared fairly because both ride in the same league. Rowe quite clearly isn’t “a million miles ahead of Thompson” in any way shape or form.

Ben Cook, Lawson, Klindt, Iversen, Kvech, Harris, Boughen. Think that’ll be it.

Still this by all accounts. It’s an interesting team if nothing else. Has obvious weaknesses, but obvious strengths also.

Dan Thompson didn’t even feature in the championship in 2023 bar two meetings for Birmingham averaging 3.50. 2024, 18 meetings, 7.88. I’d say that’s even greater progression.

“By far” LOL. Calm down.

“By a mile” LOL. take off your blinkered Lynn spectacles.

Agree. What they seem to be ignoring is Dan Thompson this year spent most of this season in the main body of the side, (rising star I might add), Rowe sat in his comfy number 7 berth all year bar the last meeting or two at the end of the season. 0.72 between them. Thompson is also two years younger than Rowe so I’m not sure about the “highest ceiling” either or what that’s based on. Nobody can predict who has a higher ceiling, some riders progress some don’t so it’s all guesswork. The current stats though are there for all to see.

Thompson was only in the main body because Rew sat on an average of 4.00 for most of the season! Rowe had to get his average over 5.00 before he moved out of reserve... Bit of a difference

Not only did Dan get into the team he actually increased his average in the team.  He also retained his place for 3 months before Rew overtook him.
both Dan and Anders are great prospects and both will have great careers but imo Dan shades Anders atm.

But Rew was on a 4.00 average for 75% of the season!

Rowe 5.21, Thompson 4.14...
