I don’t understand how you think we’ll definitely be bottom 3 with Bomber at reserve!! and when he goes into the main body then someone like Kvech or Klindt will take his place, absolute madness!

What's the advantage of Bomber at No6? That he can have 7 rides by any chance?

It's a waste as it means others in the top 5 are not performing.

A strong No6 is only valid with strong Heatleaders.

No team can compete if the No1 / No5 are less than a 7.50 average.

I remember when Peterborough were written off before a wheel was turned.

It's a team of AFA track specialists that will win regularly at Home which is what KL fans need after years of poor home results.

It's a rock solid proposed 1-7 where any rider in the main body + Harris can win numerous races on any given night, Which is what happend with Dad's Army, Always had others stepping up to cover for a rider who was having a poor night.

Heats 13 & 15 will be a struggle for KL but KL will have the upper hand in Heats 12 & 14 where they can send out 2 x No.3's as it's a KL team with no reserve or second string on paper (Team of No.3's + a RS) whilst other teams will send out a British youngster at reserve to partner a second string so the last 4 heats on paper level themselves out.

Feel it in my urine another year fighting with Oxford and Birmingham in the bottom 3.

Look I don’t mind one bit being wrong, but I don’t even think Harris will be there. The club fails to attract the top riders. Perhaps the riders tip one another off regarding Buster who is not popular.

3rd from bottom, is a play off place ;) Bomber will be there.

Can’t see it happening.Lawson still at Leics I’d imagine. Certainly not a top four team with that lineup. Neils and Harris on way down. Boughen loss of confidence, Klindt hit and miss with scoring Ben cook the only improver

kvech? would be astonished if he didnt improve on his starting figure

if those seven are the team im more than happy for the doubting thomases to write us off

much rather that than be highly fancied

I agree. Kvech can be a 7.5-8.0 rider, especially now he’s seen all the away tracks at least once

Not necessarily 7 rides, but we should turn some of those 2-4’s into 3-3’s, 3-3’s into 4-2’s and 4-2’s into 5-1’s with a rider like Bomber at reserve (if that’s the case)

There's a reason Harris could be at reserve, he's no longer THAT guy.

100% he'll still deliver on the entertainment front but winning races when needed? There's a reason he's a 6 - 6½ average.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get the belief & excitement. Old guys at reserve are there for a reason, if it was the next big thing (Bewley, Lambert, Ward, Woffinden) at No6, that's a different story.

This is a bit different, Harris has been a 6+ rider for a few years, he's not on a massive downward spiral. Plus he rode at number 5 for Oxford for a lot of meetings, so moving to reserve should see an increased average without him improving.

I agree with your point about 7 rides, he'd only get that if multiple top 5 riders are underperforming, which they don't want. But he should have the beating of opposition reserves in heats 2,4,12,14 which is where you gain the advantage.

Think you're confused by the racecard.

Home 2, 7, 11, 14 - Away 2, 6, 9, 12

If he comes in as a reserve switch he'll always be against a Heatleader.

For me, that many points used in team building at reserve is wasted

But if you can’t attract/pay for a big hitter never mind 2, what other approach is there?

It's simple then,

If You Can't Pay - Top 4 Gets Taken Away.

The promotion desperately needs 7+ No1 & No5s for any top 4 hopes

Harris at 6 is a weapon to King's Lynn. If he signs. I know people are saying ' well he's still riding against the oppositions heat leader ' . Doesn't matter that much. Harris may only win heat two heat but still can have a big impact. Harris can have 5 + rides a meeting. Heat 2 we expect him to win so there's 3 points. Even if he gets 6 rides only 2nd and 3rd places it's better than nothing. 3,2,2,1,2,2 equals 12 pts at reserve for exampleat home. 12pts from your number 6 is great.

of course he'll be a weapon

in all likelihood he will take all the reserve rides after heat 8 and although he is past his best now he is still one of the very best in the championship and rode most (all?) of last season as a heatleader in the prem

he shouldnt be a reserve but would be because of the way lynn are going to build their team which is the best way for the club and its finances

most importantly hes bloody good to watch and as a paying customer id be delighted if he signs

also in all likelihood the number six will be different every month which is quite mouth watering if the top five is as suggested

it will be a powerhouse reserve whoever it is injuries permitting of course and surely we are finally due a bit of luck in that regard
