King's Lynn Stars 2025

I can see Lynn being 24 quid if I’m honest, but I still wouldn’t mind if it was 25 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's all relative... It doesn't feel that long ago that starters in restaurants were 3 or 4 quid... now they are £7+

The only irksome thing is when you then need the change in your pocket for a programme which isn't in the entry cost - I'd rather just pay one cost for both

Suppose the only thing is if 2 or 3 of you go and normally share a programme, if included would make it dearer for their evening.

£24/£25 is ridiculous.

Speedway is going to price itself out.

Pensioners are struggling to keep warm. They have lost their winter fuel payment due to the Conservative Party leaving a big black hole in the budget.

Funny how this post completely contradicts your one on the Sheffield thread

You can stick your black hole where the sun don't shine.

There is of course the option to stay at home and spend your £25 on the fuel bill? Have you been to a football match lately and seen how much they charge.

Stadium rent will have gone up in some cases, the riders expenses would have gone up also, therefore so will their demands. Literally everything in modern day life has become more expensive. Can’t really expect admission prices to freeze and the promotions take an even bigger hit. A small increase is to be expected.

Bel Vue quoted football prices as a way to justify ridiculous prices for the son. How did that work out.

Speedway isn't football. It's a £20 sport including a program. The reason we pay more is because we love it.

I just looked at ticket prices for normdl one day cricket at Essex £14 in advance. £17 on the day

We all can compare apples and pears!!

I see lots of people without a programme, and if my Wife comes with me, we only buy one programme, so putting the price up even higher (perhaps by £3)  to include a programme is not a good idea in my opinion.

I certainly wouldn't want to be forced to pay for a programme. Rarely buy them these days as I use an app. Petrol and entrance and drinks are enough for me.

Not sure why programmes are sold separately - have them available at the box office then if you are paying by card you only pay once and don't have to worry about cash

I think official club phone apps are long overdue for people who use their phones quite a bit. You could have a buyable digital version of the programme on there with a scorechart which can be filled in on the night and the news / club info that the website has plus extras for those who are prepared to pay for a premium service.

Phil Morris is/was looking into getting an app developed.

Good for Phil, this could be right up there with his innovative coloured start mats at the pit  gate for televised meetings.

and his commercial play/offs semi finals :t:
