If the fixture is late June he’ll probably be gone by then. Bad eyelash or something keeping from the UK 😂

You can't ride with a break and it was a bad one....

A broken promise ;)

As ever two sides to a story. I won't reveal the identity of the person but they are well connected in the sport and certainly not been shy of criticising Lynn in the past and I quote from a private message to me "Very poor from Musielak this year and was nothing to do with the club tbf despite what people say"

At the end of the day, the relationship broke down but if you think it's all down to the club you are way off.

They are wrong I’m afraid. My source is connected to the rider and it’s several broken promises

So everything was ok until the injury. I understand it’s the rider fault and not the club.

You’re all wasting your time I’m afraid. They won’t have it that it can possibly be anything other than the rider that walked out who is totally to blame. Kings Lynn and the bloke that runs it are of course totally blameless. It had nothing to do with them, obviously.

Never had rider issues with walking away before. We all have our opinions and I’ve got mine also.

As is often the case there are two sides to everything and right & wrong on both sides as I expect is the case here. However what puzzles me is that the rider stayed in contact with the club during his injury lay off and never raised a grievance despite having multiple opportunities to do so which is very odd.

He obviously no longer wanted to ride for King's Lynn and wanted to be elsewhere. There is a narrative that Lynn are a shambles but plenty of experienced, quality riders are happy to ride for the club and return after leaving so it's obviously not the case. Sometimes people just don't click with eachother and can be on different pages, I suspect that is what happened here.

With regards to whether Ben Cook will start at No. 1 or not, the press release for the team announcement said….

”The top six comes in at fractionally under the 40-point limit, and a unique feature of the side is that the starting averages of each of those six riders are between 6.00 and 7.00. It means Cook will start the season at No.1 on 6.99, whilst Harris will be at reserve on 6.06.”

Its interesting that Stars have set their side up  polar opposite to the concept of having high scoring 1 & 5 in favor of a health middle & strong lower order
Clearly with Bomber at 6 he will score a bagful of points home and away but after the first month will, more than likely be in the main body of the team and who knows who he will be swapping places with.
Conversely, difficult to see Stars 1 & 5 doing particularly well v their opposite numbers so filling in the minor places will be vital if Stars are to have any sort of (much needed) cushion for heats 13 & 15.
Overall, its fairly reasonable to expect Stars to enjoy a winning season at home but think the away results may prove costly in terms of gaining valuable aggregate bonus points.

and you seem to be basing your view on one side of the story

that the rider or his polish club or another british club turning his head are all totally blameless

id have thought that an employee/contractor who isn't happy with their bosses would seek to resolve their issues with them rather than skulk back to poland and bitch about that boss through their manager while pretending their is no issue but perhaps thats me

Enjoyed that.  Hearing Andrews home averages for the the team was interesting, in a good way. We should be very hard to beat at the AFA next season. Hopefully Bomber might help put a few on the gate, as well as a team that should win plenty of home meetings, and hopefully be in the mix for a top 4 finish.

Well, we like watching Bomber whoever he rides for, but as he is riding for Chapman then sadly we will not be watching Bomber anywhere for 2025.
