It has an Oxford 2024 feel to it. Solid throughout no doubt. They need to be dominant at home if they are to push for the play offs, think they’ll get beat badly as some away tracks

  • For the full 'Oxford feel' you'll need to replace Kvech mid-season with Simon Lambert.   😝

I would imagine a lot of meetings will be a foregone conclusion before the latter stages (home meetings only)

Ht 1 - 4-2

Ht 2 - 4-2 (8-4)

Ht 3 - 3-3 (11-7)

Ht 4 - 2-4 (13-11)

Ht 5 - 3-3 (16-14)

Ht 6 - 5-1 (21-15)

Ht 7 - 3-3 (24-18)

Ht 8 - 5-1 (29-19)

Ht 9 - 4-2 (33-21)

Ht 10 - 4-2 (37-23)

Ht 11 - 2-4 (39-27)

Ht 12 - 4-2 (43-29)

Ht 13 - 1-5 (44-34)

Ht 14 - 5-1 (49-35

Ht 15 - 2-4 (51-39)

I think 51-39, 50-40 and 49-41 will be very likely home results for Lynn next season

Your rose coloured glasses sure are working well 🕶️
Good to see a line up that the long suffering Stars fans can have belief in.

Yes good solid side but cant see them doing a Panthers, weak rs and havent the top end to compete in the latter races. Win most meetings at home but will struggle away.

nor did pboro 2020 on paper

But what Boro did have was an unexpected 3 point improver at reserve first up who then got injured allowing horses for courses guests at the inflated average rather than a natural drop back meaning a stronger top end than the true picture

Here we go again..the normal suspects going crazy about a side who won't get enough heat winner's  away from home or in heat 13 and 15...Its like Oxford 2024 all over again..

Expand

You don't actually have to win any races away from home to become Champions. Not that if expect anyone other than Ipswich to win the league. But that doesn't mean they can't have a successful season (top 4 spot).

Obviously heats 13 & 15 will be tough, but it's not like Lynn will lose a 5-1 in every 13 & 15.

The more I look at it, the more I like this team.
Sure, they will struggle in Heats 13 & 15 but they will always have strong riders and 2 and 6 and should comfortably win the majority of their home meetings. I am expecting Jan Kvech to push on towards an 8.00 ave this season.

I can see this team finishing in the play offs behind Ipswich, Sheffield and potentially Oxford.

I'm not sure you are right about heats 13 and 15, at least I hope you're not .There are 6 riders in the team that ride lynn very well, we only need one of them on top form each week to draw those heats ,or 2 from 6 for an advantage. True there are no big names but there are some very capable riders in that team

I’d expect Kvech and Lawson to be at 1 and 5 after the first change of averages. Those two in heats 13 and 15 isn’t too shabby at all.

Thats what i'm thinking. 2 of Kvech, Lawson, Cook, Harris, and NKI should be on it at home most weeks.

Tbh I think almost every away side is going to be favourite to win heat 1 at lynn, don’t mind the lynn team at all think they’ll be competitive but I struggle to see the consistent heat advantages against the likes of Ipswich/sheffield/belle vue to regularly be winning by 8-12 points

I guess the Big Question is when will Kindt get sacked .Only Kerr got a worst record of not lasting a season at a club

If Oxford had kept Klindt and Maciej Janowski had ridden at the start like he did at the end of the season they may have had a better chance of the play offs.
