King's Lynn Stars 2025

Recommended Posts

It’s a solid enough team, but I agree with an earlier poster, not sure it’s a play off one and it’ll depend on the make up of the Oxford team for that 4th spot.

This is probably Ipswich’ best away fixture. Emil and Doyle drop very few points here, Ellis goes well here and now so does Brennan. It’s actually King’s best away track also so this will be by far their biggest home test.

Yes good solid side but cant see them doing a Panthers, weak rs and havent the top end to compete in the latter races. Win most meetings at home but will struggle away.

I would imagine a lot of meetings will be a foregone conclusion before the latter stages (home meetings only)

Ht 1 - 4-2

Ht 2 - 4-2 (8-4)

Ht 3 - 3-3 (11-7)

Ht 4 - 2-4 (13-11)

Ht 5 - 3-3 (16-14)

Ht 6 - 5-1 (21-15)

Ht 7 - 3-3 (24-18)

Ht 8 - 5-1 (29-19)

Ht 9 - 4-2 (33-21)

Ht 10 - 4-2 (37-23)

Ht 11 - 2-4 (39-27)

Ht 12 - 4-2 (43-29)

Ht 13 - 1-5 (44-34)

Ht 14 - 5-1 (49-35

Ht 15 - 2-4 (51-39)

I think 51-39, 50-40 and 49-41 will be very likely home results for Lynn next season

And who would you have at reserve to replace Bomber then?

The poster said Janowski instead of Cook,Bomber wouldn't need to have been replaced.

does he?

Going by last two years he definitely does. Scored 7+1 one visit with Ipswich this season, his previous three visits have all been paid double figure scores and two of those were in his dreadful 2023 season with Sheffield. For a 5.5 middle order rider, that’s a good record.

All KL need is for one rider to have a breakthrough season and become a No.1, Kvech could very well be that rider now that he's had a look at most tracks in the country.

Only meetings I can potentially see KL losing at Home are against Ipswich but I'd fancy Ipswich to win at least 75% of their regular league fixtures next season.

I totally understand the top end power opinions away from home but compare it to Sheffield for example who've got top end power but offers nothing when it comes to the tail end which only levels itself out imo.

Not sure you see the real benefit of a strong reserve when you build strength in depth with all riders (bar the rs) of a similar standard. If Harris ends up having seven rides, then he’s replacing someone in the 1-5 of a similar standard who isn’t doing the job they’ve been brought in to do to make a strength in depth team work.

It’s going to be interesting though to see them up against the others who have been built top heavy to see which strategy pays off. If Kvech does jump to 1 and does a number 1’s job there which he looks talented enough to do, then who knows!
