Must admit not against it either - I also remember the old inter league cup from the early 1990s  Arena gave out a couple of spankings to higher league teams including a very satisfying demolition of Eastbourne / Wimbledon

I’ve also always wanted to see proper promotion and relegation but that’s a different matter!

the issue is all the doubling up nowadays

its gonna be guests left right and centre which is not good imo

All Poole fixtures are 'juicy'. It'll be good if Poole can use the majority of their 2024 Championship winning team.

not for the teams theyd be nicking lawson cooks and brennan from

a champs team entering a prem comp and taking priority over the prem teams riders lol

would be seriously taking the p iss

and i hope poole are made to ride on a mon/thurs

Lawson is a Poole rider. Simply get Cook and Brennan back as the nucleus against Sheffield.

It’s never going to happen - it’s just something I have always wanted to see - the only time they seriously tried it in recent times I remember Swindon refused to be relegated - and then voluntarily dropped down a year or so later!!!

Another payday for Ford.

And they can build to Prem level for it apparently.. They either want to play in the top league or not. Mickey Mouse is back in the house.. I wonder if the did a draw to pick  a Champ side to come in

If you read the article properly, they have been invited to take part, nothing to do with moving up

Page was unavailable. I know no one is moving up. From my post on your Poole thread..

"Being as Poole are allowed to strengthen up to Prem standard, i wonder if there was a draw involving all the Champ clubs? I'm sure many lesser supported Champ clubs would of liked the opportunity for a bumper pay day as well.."

And rightly so. Much better idea than having an uneven number of clubs and one club skipping a round. Good decision.

Yep I'd agree with that.

Just a coincidence though I'm sure that they've drawn the Holder's team and that Cook & Brennan would be free to 'guest' 😁

BV v Ipswich a juicy old tie.

Anyway to get the thread back on to the club it's meant to be about, I'm glad we are racing on Mondays to avoid the potential Thursday carnage with Poland.

Looking forward to the team being named, excited about 2025.

Reading Morris’ comments in the PR, he mentions getting more local double headers on this year. Wonder if that means we’ll get our old Bank Holiday double header back on? Hope so

Probably to do with Ben Cook riding Poland

Should be a given anyway! Remember we used to do them a lot against the Panthers as well and then they suddenly stopped…

The full 7 is signed so I don’t know why King’s Lynn always hang about when it comes to announcing it!! Just p**ses the fans off unnecessarily
