Without support for weaker teams many tracks would have closed at some point in the past and in all likelihood been permanently lost to the sport, thus accelerating the sport's decline. Would you say that during their previous attempt at running in the "top league", Leicester was supported by the others, or shafted by them? The only American thing I mentioned was WWE, you’re not calling that a “sport” surely? If you’re talking actual sports, the only people that like them are Americans. I can’t agree with you I’m sorry. I’ll never ever get on board with a sport that restricts certain clubs due to a previous season’s good performance, whilst giving preferential treatment to a club that had a poor year. That’s a complete and utter nonsense and the fact a few people liked your post, really sums up this “sport” and the people that follow it to a T. Maybe in football, let Ipswich Town, Southampton and Leicester play with 12 men instead of 11? That should insure a more competitive game against Man City. Or how about in Darts, when world number 1 Luke Humphries faces world number 75 Robert Owen, make Luke play with two darts instead of three. When Ronnie plays anyone else, make him use the butt end of his cue! Edited November 5 by Steve Irving

Your football reference doesn’t really hold credibility because you do get rewarded following relegation from the Premier League through parachute payments. That gives you an advantage financially next year in the Championship and 9 times out of 10 at least one of the relegated teams gets promoted again the next season. How is that fair on the teams that were promoted from League One and have now been restricted from the previous seasons good performance?

We did have a couple of riders jump ship last season. I'm pretty confident this season. Time will tell. The NFL draft pick system works very well and it's not always the same teams near the top at the end of the season so I think that's a great idea, not just about who has the biggest wallet. How bonkers is that
SamKM91
I heard personally from a speedway rider 2 days ago that Harris has signed for Lynn 100%… but there is a load of people on here still saying that he’s signed for Sheffield, so I have no idea

Perhaps Bomber is now out due to the utter nonsense that Phil Morris is apprently pushing for in regards to 6 clubs having to make sacrifices for 1 club. Well out of order if it turns out to be the case. We build a team that imho has a chance of top 4 for a change, and might have it torn up. It's a Mickey Morris Mouse sport if that happens..

I believe he's pushing for it as well because it makes sense with the following. Jack Holder potentially leaving (Sheffield would have to get rid of one of the power trio) Tom Brennan possibly not joining Ipswich and staying put at Birmingham (Dictated to by Phil Morris) Chris Harris potentially not being at KL (KL would have to get rid of someone in the 1-7 and replace them with someone like Lewis Kerr)
