I'm pretty happy with that. Nice to get the team done early, and a team that should be together all season, barring injury.

I’d be ecstatic with that team, really solid and will definitely makes the playoffs barring loads of injuries at the same time (again)

Am I missing something here? With only Ashton announced so far, where are all these other names coming from?

Anders confirmed on the Raw Speedway podcast that he'd signed both of his Premiership and Championship contracts 2 months ago!!

Can't imagine Lynn & Glasgow would've been happy if Rowe signed contracts to ride for another club, while still in their teams?

Why?

They knew their contracts ran out on 31 October 2024, why would that have any effect on him signing a different contract to start on 15 March 2025?

My gas contract doesn't run out until the end of Feb 2025, I've already signed one to start 1 March 2025.

1. B Cook - 6.99

2. Kvech - 6.58

3. Iversen - 6.83

4. Klindt - 6.59

5. Lawson - 6.91

6. Harris - 6.06

RS. Boughen

Total - 39.96

While I've enjoyed watching Iversen ,& Harris over their careers and Kvech & Cook last year, on occasion Boughen too...  that's not a team to challenge. Sorry. That team would need to be 10 points up by heat 12 to have a chance.

Klindt is always injured and out for the season by May.

Bomber not at Kings Lynn

And not Oxford. Surely won't be at Belle Vue.  Don't tell me the Sheffield management aren't building a ridiculous top heavy team!

Well I guess you would! Reason being?

Try and help teams with the lowest budget? give the fans something to look forward to each week (i.e watching the best British prospect as opposed to foreign has-beens!) need I go on.....???

No, please don’t because you’re talking b0llocks. No club should be given a helping hand. We already have a points limit to try and keep the leagues competitive, carry on trying to manufacture performance/results and you start veering towards WWE nonsense. Performance this season should have absolutely no bearing on preparation for next season, a totally different season where everyone has the opportunity to do better.

I’ve already stated I have some sympathy with Birmingham on this occasion because of the uncertainty over their future and seemingly being a step behind everyone else on team building. I don’t have a problem with Birmingham being protected slightly on rider control as a one off and I’ve already said as such.

What I don’t like is restricting certain clubs who had a successful year and helping those that didn’t by bringing in this ridiculous favouritism on rising star control.

And yet an awful lot of people take American sports seriously, despite numerous ways in which weaker teams are given a 'helping hand' (draft picks, revenue sharing, salary caps etc).

Without support for weaker teams many tracks would have closed at some point in the past and in all likelihood been permanently lost to the sport, thus accelerating the sport's decline.

Speedway promoters in this country could only dream of the crowds the 'WWE nonsense' pull across the world.

For what it's worth WWE attracts huge audiences wherever they go - and tickets are by no means cheap! Give the followers what they want. Create heroes and villains, goodies and baddies and hype up the media!😉

Wake up, we're in the Sports Entertainment sector, people!!

Birmingham need some help for good of league and sport as a whole. Premiership needs as many clubs as possible to get sport back on upward trajectory again. id say 10 is the number we need to be credible league
