12 points gives Belle Vue the edge Sheff have made a big mistake by Having Harris rather than RR.

Harris was always going to struggle at 5, he isn't number 5 quality anymore but I doubt it will matter, Sheffield will win by 20 in my opinion and Harris will do much better at Sheffield.

Really ? I would say the Bookies would price it up  + 12 Bv making it a even contest.

Other than the family who it happened too? When will people stop defending the holder clan. They’re all a bunch on entitled 🔔 ends, they always have been and they always will be. Jack being the worst out of the lot of them.

I wouldn't put Chris in the same category as the others, totally different to them

If this is the case for the defence, its not a great look. One wonders what if anything Sheffield Speedway, his employer, make of this.

You’ve no idea what got said to him only seeing his response, social media is an absolute nightmare for people hiding behind computer screens to abuse others.

Fair play to Chris Holder and any rider who sticks up for themselves and gives a bit back...social media has born a free speech platform, where anybody can say what they want when ever they want about anything they want, whether it has any credence or any truth about it.

Most of these riders that are tarnished with a bad name on social media and indeed on here are based on what they see on tv/streams and read on X/Facebook/forums,.

I don't think Harris was that bad, don't forget he's a 6 point rider, so 5 points away from home riding in the difficult number 5 position isn't a major shock. I agree he wasn't great, but average wise he wouldn't be expected to beat any Belle Vue heat leaders.

In Thursday I'd certainly put Chris Holder at 5 & move Harris to a "second string" position.

5 points from a 6 point rider is pretty bad.

you obviously bear a childish grudge but that's harsh, not sure who else he was meant to beat, he's not at his previous levels any more

How? Everyone says play off Harris always raises his game and brings his A game.
as previously proven he can decidedly below average.

He won’t rank the NSS as his favourite track that’s true however he was supposed to be a Monmore specialist!!

5 points from a 6 point rider is well below par.

On his last visit he scored 7 and beat Bewley, Cook and Lidsey.

These are riders he has proved he can beat.

Surely a 6 point rider would be expected to score 7 at home & 5 away. So while 5 points wasn't a good performance how can one point off your average be "well below par" especially riding at number 5, meaning he meets Bewley & Kurtz twice?

The fact that everyone is eager to believe the story without any evidence, should be a wake up call to Jack Holder to improve his attitude & actions, after all he is a professional sportsman, representing his sponsors / clubs / country.

Had this story been about Emil Sayfutdinov, I would not have believed it at all!

Well the original post was from the child’s mother rather than hearsay.
I always think there are 3 sides to every story with the truth being in the middle.
if I was jack holder I’d invite the child and parents in question to Sheffield to watch the play off final and pay for them including a meal in the restaurant. All good publicity and doing the right thing.

What's the issue?

Lots of respect for Chris...

World Champions are a special breed...

Met him once on the Monster rig at the SON..

A very decent lad..

Ignore social media knobheads....

Life is too short...

And sometimes you come off worst..

Great to see him perform so well on Monday...

On facebook, that well known platform of truth and honesty !!

Everyone is taking her word as gospel and completely discounting Chris Holder's statement that it didn't happen. Is that because they know the woman personally and are confident she would only post the absolute truth ? Or is it because they dislike the Holder family and see an opportunity to jump on the bandwagon ?

I wonder how many of those backing her statement would do the same if she said it about Doyle or Nicholls ?
