Big set back for the campaign https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crke4ryl0y8o

Anyone involved in the Wolverhampton or Peterborough campaigns should take note of deadlines if thinking of something similar.

To cite 2019 as not being in the "recent past" is just using an undefined period of time to do what ever they want. The whole country was in lock down during 2020 and the start of 2021, so to use 2019 as their date seems a little unfair.

It doesn't really matter anyway these rules that they allegedly work to aren't worth the paper they're written on as in Peterborough's case with their local plan stating an alternative site must be provided.

They're all corrupt!

I'd suggest you read the actual Council report , and Councel advice before calling all Councillors corrupt. The BBC report is not a complete reflection on all the facts.

Maybe "all" is a bit strong and it's not really on topic but what's happened at Peterborough with the local plan just being totally ignored makes me bloody mad... people are paid thousands of pounds to write these plans and reports and they're so wishy washy that they mean virtually nothing in reality.
