The return of the Scottish cup it is then to start the season, 4th April.

The return leg the following week, good way to get some laps under their belts before the season kicks off properly still would have preferred the Scottish open. However it’ll do.

I’m the same a far more glamorous opponent would have been better, beggars can’t be choosers so Edinburgh will have to do.

It has the added benefit of giving Grahn and Polis a free go at Ashfield ahead of the BSN meeting there in May.

I am always impressed that both the teams get to the final each year...

Same with the University Boat Race and an American team always wins The World Series in baseball.

Not always.  Toronto Blue Jays won it in 1992 & 1993!!

They used to stage the Easter Trophy as a qualifier for the Scottish Cup, which was held later in the season.  The winners of the Easter Trophy were seeded directly to the Scottish Cup Final, while the losers qualified as the highest-scoring runners-up.

Is the VIP/hospitality section between the third and fourth bend no longer open at Armadale?

It was closed last night, but in previous visits - a few years ago now, admittedly - it was busy with fans out in numbers on the viewing platform.

It’s still open yes, still use both outside areas but just use the top cabin now for food and drink instead of both.

Was open last night.

Nice to see Victor disappointed with his last 3 heats so stayed back and tried different set ups way after the meeting and junior riders had finished. ?hope that pays off for him.

He'll comfortably improve on his average, even when he's in the main body of the team. He'll end up a heat leader this season i'm fairly certain.
