I wouldn’t imagine he was in the team plans, which is why he has signed elsewhere.  I think it’s a smart move for both parties, there’s definitely improvement on his current average, I think he can be a solid 5-6 point rider.

The way I read the post, sounded like he chose to leave rather than Edinburgh couldn't fit him in.

Agree to a certain extent but any new foreign rider on an assessed 5.00 will need to hit the ground running. Please no Dayle at reserve

With Max also now not fitting in with team plans it's beginning to look like a bit like a Black Friday clearance in the Blue & Gold camp.  More to come ?

With that amount available (and considering there's no number 1 in the team), I would much rather sign a rider such as Claus Vissing, coupled with a 2pt rider (Max James) at no.7.

That would leave Palovaara at reserve initially, probably swapping places with SuperGrahn once they both attain new averages.

Having 2 4pt-ish chaps at reserve (unless they're somehow world beaters) will leave the team extremely weak throughout.

Interesting that we’re heading for Kye and Paco back in 2025 and Max James and Lasse away. I’m not sure many of the supporters would have picked that tbh. Going to need one of the Swedes to really improve on the 5.00.
