So yes would be a 6.00. I think they were supposed to be league 1, but they were relegated down to the bottom league when Rawicz were refused their licence for 2024 and they decided to to restructure the leagues. Would be a shrewd bit of business by Edinburgh to get both of them on assessed averages. 1) Sedgy 2) VP 3) MPT 4) Paco 5) Nilsson 6) Lasse 7) James Palm Toft. Not sure about that. You can still be a fan of MPT but not necessarily have him in your team. I’m certainly not saying it would be a signing I would ever choose, just merely looking at the landscape of who’s available and taking a wild guess. Justsaying
I don`t usually do this but I found myself with some time to spare this evening. I also picked up some of the comments from some of the contributors who may have inside information. I came up with this team : Sedgemen 7.92 Castagna 7.11 Thomson 6.53 Nilsson 6.50 Boughan 5.16 Palovaara 5.00 Max James 2.00 Total 40.22 If I have the correct averages it is 0.22 over the limit so I was hoping Nilsson may possibly be a bit lower and perhaps Boughan has still to receive the 0.13 reduction as a British rider. This gives us fresh faces and Victor as a reserve. Just a bit of fun and I am probably well off the final team.

Would also like to see 2 stronger reserves to give the team more balance.

I know that it fits as it was one of my permutations but if Boughan is available to us I would not want to lose him. I also like Lasse and that is the problem with the points limit. Happy that it is the promoters who have the difficult choices and not me. Nilsson may be the key as he might just be a rumour that is going around. I believe that the promoters know that a repeat of the last 2 years is likely to seriously damage attendances but can we afford the cost of bringing some of these riders to Scotland without damaging the finances? So difficult!

FishersGate
Some real surprises so far. Riders I've never even heard of. Fair play Monarchs bet these lads don't come cheap with them coming from different nations. I'm glad to see them changing the side that is really needed from a neutral aspect. Marksman
Good to see new faces in the league, rides with Palovaara, Fraser Bowes and Drew Kemp in the same Swedish team. And also had a couple of outings for Lublin U24 team alongside Bowes this season.

On the subject of 5.00s - maybe another to follow perhaps ? Or a different surprise ? For what it's worth the team I had in mind now that his identity* is known was : 1. Sedgmen 7.92 2. * Grahn 5.00 3 .Castagna 7.11 4. * "Import" 5.00 5. Pavlovarra 5.00 6. Ablitt 4.91 7. Frederiksen 4.67 39..61 Probs. off the mark with one or two of the above but quite fancy it anyway. May generate a lot of new interest from the fans though ?
