I’m sure Oxford will go with those riders in those positions, it’s just who the number 1 and 6 will be… maybe Musielak and a 5 pointer from overseas, or Musielak and Kerr, Sedgy or Cookie

Logic would say that Musielak is their new number 1, but I wonder if they will go for a couple of 6 pointers and push Riss back to reserve?

I'm confident that Musielak will be at No.1

As for the No.6, I wonder if they'll go for Wiktor Lampart?

Musielak is just over 8 isn’t he so that would leave just over 5 I think that’s the best balance they can have imo, would prob make sense for them to have Kerr back would fit and be a steady reserve.

1. Musielak - 8.21

2. Riss - 5.55

3. Janowski - 7.02

4. Wright - 6.32

5. Tungate - 7.71

6. Pawlicki - 4.89?

7. Killeen - RS

Total - 39.7

I only say Pawlicki because it might work well with 2 other poles and his good mate Maciej

Last season they didn't seem to want Riss at reserve, practically said the bonus of dropping Kemp for Killeen was to have a "solid top 5", I always thought strong reserve was more important?

I'm sure Riss too has said he wants to be in the top 5, which can be achieved by scoring more points obviously.

If he's reliable then he should be a fantastic reserve, if he doesn't do what's expected of him, just drop him for another 4 point rider, but worth the risk if you want to win the league imo.

He doesn't deserve to get another penny out of British speedway after last year's pathetic effort...

You've really got it in for Birmingham haven't you.

Not at all, Yesterday I said that I wish them all the best.

I just cant picture any rider signing for them if they've got other offers on the table from more stable clubs, Birmingham can easily go under if they hit financial problems at any point next season and riders could be owed money whilst being out of a job, Especially ones who aren't based in the UK that'll spend good money setting up in the UK.

Birmingham's just not a stable club and they're only running in the top league because the other option available to them is to shut up shop now, They'll be left with 6 riders that nobody wants.

Milik?

Don't know why any PL team would consider Riss.. Pawlicki barely looked interested in racing for Brummies.

Milik did, was ditched earlier & on a lower average.. worth a punt more than Pawlicki & Lampart in my opinion.

If Musielak signs, Janowski has a fellow Pole in the pits.

He's a favourite of Schroeck, plus a fair second string.

First half of 2024 averaged 4.84 (mainly at reserve)

Second half averaged 6.36 (mainly at no 2)
