True but surely the club they are riding for should have first refusal so maybe Harris decided he did not want to ride for Oxford anymore.

Harris himself gave a statement in October saying he wasn’t in Oxford’s plans and didn’t seem to be exactly pleased about it either.

But we’ve literally heard his haven’t we. He was told he wasn’t in Oxford’s plans and didn’t seem particularly pleased about it. Pretty weird statement to make if he left of his own desire.

You've missed the point

Why wasn't he in Oxford plans for 2025 ?

I have no idea of falling outs etc behind the scenes. 

That's why I said there's a minimum of two sides to every story

Bomber if I remember correctly  said in his statement that it will all come out in his book.

Let's see what he says when it comes out. Hopefully not for a fair few years.

I’ve missed nothing and it’s totally irrelevant as to the reasons of him not being in Oxford’s team in 2025. I was responding to a post that said maybe Harris didn’t want to ride for Oxford anymore, and that clearly isn’t the case whichever way you want to spin it. He was informed he wasn’t in the plans this year, the reasons why they decided that is completely irrelevant.

So how do you know he wanted to ride for Oxford and the poster you were replying to was wrong ?

Eh? You’re making no sense whatsoever. Let me make it a little simpler for you as you appear to be struggling. Chris Harris himself released a statement saying that he wasn’t in Oxford’s plans. That’s the factual part. Now the rest of his statement is open to debate. My personal point of view, is he didn’t seem to have taken the news particularly well and was happy riding for the club. Of course I don’t know that and could be wrong there. But if it was a mutual decision or he himself wanted to move, then it was a very strange statement to make. But again, I have no idea as to Oxford’s reasoning for not wanting Harris this year, and quite frankly I don’t particularly care. The only fact we know, is that Harris wasn’t in Oxford’s plans because the rider himself said so.

Harris not being at Oxford is the reason Boughen isn’t either despite him originally being in the side.

Maybe think how the Boughen to Glasgow move came about, an existing club asset maybe assisting with things to move a younger club asset elsewhere??? Seems plausible??
