For several weeks now, Oxford have made no public comment whatsoever on this subject.

It’s quite clear they’ve made a cock up in team building and are now having to scramble for options.

I get the feeling you guys and Birmingham will end up with Steve Worrall. Troy bachelor. Lewis kerr. Etc. Maybe as a short term signing until somebody becomes available

If somebody was serious about joining their would have been word on it by now.

There could be an anomaly over the average for Kildeman  i.e not what Oxford thought it would be that has caused a delay in naming the final signing

I do not see how there can be an anomaly as he has been announced in the Berwick team and that team is complete.

It appears that he has his Championship average  of 8.50, ( from the Champ 2015 team thread). If this is correct, divided by 1.5 = 6.666 for the Prem i'm guessing?. Who knows in speedway

No that's not how assessed averages work. The conversions are different - in this case 6.00.

I never understand why there is such a rush to get a team released almost before the end of the season. The new season will not start before March 15th so there's ample time to find a team. I can remember going to P&P day not knowing who I might see in my clubs colours. In todays climate there are many unknown hurdles, Polish commitments, work permits, Averages & of course finances to agree all before "I's" are dotted & "T's" are crossed

The reason a complete team is not announced is usually that either they are having trouble finding their preferred option or the signings that have not been released yet are poor and the fans would not like them.

Some of us old farts want to know whose lining up before shelling out on a season ticket? Usually....there's an incentive/reduced deal to buy a ticket before a certain deadline, but some of us wont buy one if the team is 'sh#te' again?

That's my reason for wanting an early completion....

Apart from that....I agree, there's no rush as long as there are available riders....

Most, if not all clubs are/were well ahead of B'ham due to their uncertainty, so I guess there's a case for 'just be grateful'.... as usual!

Can't see why Oxford have hit a wall though ?

I remember going to a Reading Press and Practice day and they still only had half a team signed. They won the league that year. (Memory is a bit hazy, but I think they signed Todd Wiltshire between then and the opening fixture).
